Ottawa wedding Photography at National Gallery of Canada

Ahsan et Veronique got married in Ottawa at St Sebastien church and their wedding reception was at the National Gallery of Canada. We photograph so many weddings and have visited so many reception hall…but, when I walked in the great Hall at the National gallery in Ottawa, it took my breath away. The view of the parliament with the sunset, the decoration, the tables, the details, the cupcakes, the ice sculpture…everything was like you see it in the movies. Tulips and Maple was catering the event and like always, their food was delicious. On top of that…talk about a couple in love, they are soooooo meant for each other and are so cute together. They are truly awesome ! Here are some highlights of Vero and Ahsan’s wonderful June wedding day!

Ottawa wedding outdoor engagement session

Juliana and John’s engagement session was photographed at our beautiful outdoor estate studio located in Cumberland, Ottawa, Ontario. We had so much fun photographing them and they had so much fun being in front of the camera. Engagement sessions come with most of our wedding packages as they are a great way to work together before the wedding.

Tammi & Trevor – A Beautiful Ottawa Winter Wedding

Another wonderful winter wedding in Ottawa…This time , it was Tammy and Trevor’s turn to tie the knot!!!

Winter weddings are so fun to do especially when we have venues like the Chateau Laurier and the Courtyard restaurant and a wonderful couple up for anything – even outdoor photos in -20 degree celcius!!!

Here is the message I got from the bride the day after the wedding : “Salut Julie!
A big thank you again for your help with our wedding yesterday – you and Guy were fantastic! And you got loads of compliments, not just on your photo styles, but also on your personalities!”

Beautiful Ottawa Fall Wedding – Mike & Kelly

The Art Gallery of Ottawa is always an amazing place to host a wedding reception. Add a fun wedding party full of girls and boys that want to have fun, a couple in love and the results: another beautiful Ottawa wedding. Mike and Kelly were a joy to photograph. My assistant Brent Gervais and I had so much fun laughing with the family and wedding party , taking photos in the OC transpo bus, and with all the running around and excitement… breaking a flash ( oups! Brent) . Renting a bus is a great idea if you have a lot of out of town guests. The reception was at the National Gallery of Ottawa (one of my favorite spots for wedding photography). Winter Weddings in the National Capital

Winter weddings are great to do in the nations Capital. The city looks beautiful with all the lights and we can do great outdoor photography. Linda and Kim’s wedding was on a very cold day, I think it was -30 with the wind chill…..but, we still did a few photos outdoors. Their coffee table book is stunning. They went for the 10×10 high gloss laminate pages. With the beautiful warm colors inside the church and the Chateau Laurier, it looks amazing. Here are some of the pages in the book. Enjoy.
