Elegance, beauty and class in an organic country setting… This sums up Isabelle and Scott’s wedding pretty well. The museum is located on a 100-acre site in the Village of Cumberland and is home to a small number of livestock in the summer, a working sawmill, forge, carpentry and pump factory, and several other buildings of local historical significance as the schoolhouse, the church and the train station. This museum is an amazing venue for an outdoor wedding, it is only 25 minutes from downtown Ottawa and the scenery and photo opportunity are endless!  We started the day with the groom’s coverage at their friend’s home followed by Isabelle’s bridal session at her parents home in Orleans. The ceremony and the reception was held on site at the Cumberland Museum. The ceremony’s location was carefully selected and designed by Stacey Price and Erin Charmichael from The Design Co. in an alley between two rows of majestic trees. It was breathtaking. When the flower petals where set, and Isabelle walked down the aisle, it was a beautiful moment. To view more photos showcasing the details, style and colour scheme from this wedding, visit The Design co‘s website. The weather was perfect, the guests mingled and visited the site while we took the wedding party and family photos. After the cocktail, we all made our way to the outdoor reception area and enjoyed nachos, tacos, pizza’s and salads from a variety of gourmet food trucks chosen by the bride and groom. Everyone partied on till the early morning!!!

To Isabelle and Scott: Thank you for allowing us to record the events of you’re wedding day. It is a privilege and a great honour to be a part of our couple’s most special day! You make a beautiful couple. We wish you happiness forever and love always!

Stonefields Heritage Farm  is a beautiful venue for weddings in the nation’s capital!!!! The venue offers a breathtaking backdrop for the wedding ceremonies. Josee and Dan are a wonderful couple; they have beauty, kindness, love and amazing families and friends in their entourage. After the morning bridal session and the groom’s morning photo at the Brookstreet Hotel, we were off to Stonefields Heritage Farm for the ceremony and an unforgettable evening. Josee arrived in style in her father’s vintage classic car. The ceremony was officiated by the bride’s father’s best friend which added a personal touch. It was a very touching and emotional moment and Josee’s dad was there watching over them. The photos were taken on the property while the guests enjoyed the cocktails and amazing food served up by Thyme and Again Creative Catering. The reception followed and was blessed with great speeches, wonderful moments, dancing and partying all night long.   Joelle’s talent as a photographer really shines in vintage country chic weddings. Josee and Dan have beautiful artistic wedding photos that will help them relive the day over and over again. Here are some images from Josée and Dan’s august wedding…

Congratulations to the happy couple!
