Amélie and Luc’s wedding day was absolutely picture perfect. Their home was beautifully decorated and offered a perfect backdrop for bridal photos. Amelie looked absolutely stunning in her “Mikaella wedding gown” and Luc, so handsome in his blue “Paul Betemly” suit. Everyone was so great and helpful, it made the morning photo session a breeze!
After the groom and bride’s getting ready photo sessions were done, we made our way to the Tropical Greenhouse (Central Experimental Farm) to capture the first look and the wedding party photos . It was the perfect location as we practically had the whole place to ourselves. Beautiful weather, beautiful couple and beautiful everything!!! It was a fantastic adventure!
Our final destination was Next restaurent. The ceremony was performed by Lynne from the amazing team of Lynne & Keith Exceptional Ceremonies . It was a unique interactive ceremony where she got the guests up on their feet and 100% invested in their union. It was so refreshing and gave us a lot of great photo opportunities. During the cocktails, we left the restaurent for a short time to take family photos and some more couple photos! The reception followed and NeXT restaurant once again were a big part of making this wedding day a success.
Lavender was the colour, love brought them together, happiness forever! Congratulation Amélie and Luc!!!

Here is a look at a wedding Joelle and Guy photographed in May. It was a very early start at the grooms mom home first, then, at the brides home. Everybody was so nice, all smiles and the early morning photo sessions went very well! At around 9h30am, they were off to the Courtyard Restaurant for their ceremony. The room looked amazing as always and the officiant, Lynne Langille from “Exceptional Ceremonies” made it extra special. The photos were done on the market, around the courtyard and on York Street. They were so lucky because the rain was coming…..and did it ever….just when they were done :). Katrina and Mark are so sweet and kind to each other – they make the perfect couple and made the photo session look very easy! A long drive to Stittsville very early in the morning brought Joelle and I to a beautiful home filled with love and warmth (and a wonderful family). Kurtis was getting ready on one side of the house, while his fiance Theressa was in the master suite. They could hear each other, but, could not see each other! Joelle and I had fun keeping them occupied with the photo session and working the different rooms hiding them from each other. Morning session done… we were on our way to the ceremony at the Courtyard restaurant for 10 AM. Lynne and Keith Langille from Exceptional Ceremonies were the officiants and they preformed a personalized beautiful ceremony as always! I love being a wedding photographer and having the privilege to be present on one of the most important days of their lives. Even after all the wedding I photograph, I still get caught up in the moment and, as the tears fill my eyes I am grateful I have automatic focus on my canon camera, ouffff!!! We stayed around the By ward market and courtyard area for the photo session and had a blast. What a wonderful couple and you’ll see why we say Theressa has a “million dollar smile”.
