Spirits ran high as over 250 martial artists gathered at the beautiful Westin Ottawa Hotel for the 2009 Masters Summit, hosted by 100% Martial Arts & Fitness, on Saturday, December 12, 2009. International Masters taught exciting workshops to eager and bright students from many of Ottawa’s martial arts academies. Karate, Kickboxing, Tae Kwon Do, Jiu-Jitsu, Goshin Do, Kobudo (traditional weaponry) were among some of the exciting arts shared. Many travelled as far as Toronto to enjoy the day’s events including over 30 Black Belt presentations to those just graduated. Ranging from Junior level Black Belt to 6th Degree Honourary Black Belt, there is no doubt this year’s 100% Martial Arts highly anticipated Masters Summit was the most memorable.
