When Carole called us to say that her daughter Kate and her friend Diarmuid ( who is visiting from Dublan Ireland) wanted a different kind of photo session, I did not know it would lead to this fun, candid, young & free spirited photo session… Ironicly, I had just finished painting the high key section of our new indoor studio the day before; so, we had to line it up with plastic and tarps all over again. It was so fun to start with a plain white canvas and let them go crazy with the paint fight. We all had fun getting our hands dirty and most of all, the clients had exactly what they wanted. Kate and Diarmuid were so cute, full of expression and very natural in front of the camera. We used the natural light from our two big windows and let the sun shine on the couple to create a more dramatic effect. The clean up was a little messy, but totally worth it. Here are some highlights of the photo session.

It’s with so much joy that I look at those images. Kate was in the studio for the first time when she was 7 months old. From First Communion, to family portraits, to Sweet 16, I can always count on you guys to capture the fun and love in those special moments.

I LOVE THE PICTURES!!
They’re amazing and I love the way the lighting from the windows created such effects.
Thank you so much for taking the pictures and letting us being photographed in the studio, even after the day you painted the studio.
