Hummingbird MediSPA 2012 Calendar – Ottawa Pin-up Photography

Put a bunch of girls together from a spa, hair salon and photography studio…and what do you get……. THE NEW 2012 Hummingbird CALENDAR !!!!!

ok, sorry , I forget about the only “Guy” part of the photo shoot…my husband GUY…. who had a blast by the way!…

This concept came together when “laser Julie” and me ” photo Julie” brainstormed together about what this years calendar theme should be about…..and since boudoir and pin-up’s are making a comeback, we thought…. why not !!!! ( This is the third year that Studio GR Martin and hummingbirdMediSpa collaborate to make a calendar, it is an ongoing fun adventure :))

The photo session took place at our Cumberland, Ontario photography studio. Guy and I handled the photography, the girls from Liaison hair studio did the hair and makeup, and laser Julie “our lovely JUNE pin-up” made sure everything ran smoothly….. ( Thanks Jul’s for all your help!). And please note that the pin-up girls are not professional models, they are all employees from the HummingbirdMEDISPA!

The calendar will be HOT of the press ( that is the SOTEK Graphics press BTW, a great printing company located in Ottawa) and for sale next week at all the 8 Hummingbird locations in Ottawa! Julia & Daniel – Engagement & Wedding

Wow, What a couple…what a wedding day.

Beautiful Julia, in every way, and her wonderful handsome husband Dan make quite a pair! We photographed their ‘E session” in our studio in Cumberland, Ontario a few weeks before the wedding… It’s great to photograph our couples before the BIG DAY … we get to know each other… and they know what to expect the day of the wedding in terms of posing…. We approached this engagement session with a bit of a fashion flare… it worked great with them.

A few weeks later, the wedding took place at Dan’s family cottage. A beautiful lake side property in near Lac Sainte-Marie, Quebec. What a great great event ! Everyone, including the bride and groom were relaxed, calm, smiling and very exited !!! …Just the way it should be at every wedding In short… a perfect wedding! Christopher – Fitness Photography Ottawa

On Thursday, we photographed Christopher Hollick. He is a 19 year old, in amazing shape, studying to be a nutritionist and personal trainer. He will be competing at the IDFA Ottawa Gatineau Classic, on October 29th and at the O.P.A competition on november 5th, 2011. The IDFA is the International Drug Free Athletics association. They have a big event this weekend at the Canadian Museum of Civilization, 100 Laurier Street. We wish him the best of luck. Here is a sneak peek at his fitness photo session!

Studio Baby Photography Ottawa

Here is the new addition to Caroline and Bruno’s family. We had the privilege of photographing their wedding and 1st born, and now, their new little baby girl. She was a real charm to photograph. Ottawa Portrait Photographers – CD cover, music artist portfolio

Here are a few photos from ROMY’s music CD portfolio’s session! What a lovely, talented & beautiful girl. Her CD is coming out soon and we did this photo session to promote her web page / facebook page and new release CD. This portfolio was photographed in our Ottawa East end studio located at 2080 Old Montreal Road. We mixed window light and flash for the indoor photos and then, took photos around the pond at our outdoor portrait studio. We love the results and think Romy’s photos are absolutely fabulous… I’ll post some more soon because Guy and I just had a blast photographing her…and there are a lot more we want to share with you…

Ottawa Business Studio Portrait Photography

Here is a look at a business portrait done in our studio located at 2080 Old Montreal Road in Ottawa. This falls under the business – corporate category, but, I have to admit with a beautiful woman like Stephanie, we also did a little more portrait work as a gift for her husband…

Mark & Katrina- On location engagement photography in Ottawa

Another beautiful engagement session photographed downtown Ottawa… We started around the Rideau Canal under the Wellington bridge for images with an architectural flare. Mark and Katrina make such a beautiful couple, they are so cute together…there was a lot of LOL and cracking up during the photo session…this gave us a great opportunity to get to know them more before their big day…

Mark is a musician at a local bar in Ottawa! He got the owners to open the doors early for some extra engagement photos… We had a blast photographing
