We love photographing families at our outdoor studio in Cumberland, only 20 minutes from downtown Ottawa. We have 1 acre of beautifully landscaped gardens, a pond, a small waterfall and lot’s more. Guy and Julie spend countless hours in the garden planting, relocating, and experimenting with plants to create wonderful backdrops for your next family photo. We also have the best neighbours! The Partridge family wanted their family session to be at their farm home in Cumberland. We photographed them using a lifestyle and candid approach, among with traditional posing. A late afternoon appointment is best to achieve this look.
Our photography studio in Cumberland (20 minutes from downtown Ottawa) offers great indoor background all year round. You don’t have to wait for good weather to get your family photos done. Try to dress in similar colour tones for a best results. Remember in portraiture, we love the focus to be on your face. A typical family session will take about one hour. During this time, we take many different compositions and groupings.
