What a wedding! Beautiful fall colors make the perfect backdrop for wedding photography in the nation’s capital. We started the wedding at the couple’s house in Orleans. Beautiful light due to large windows made the lighting perfect for the portrait session. They were both in the same house…but, never saw each other. It was fun to see everyone making sure they would not cross paths- they could only hear their voices…What a fun way to build up the anticipation of the groom seeing the bride for the first time down the aisle…and the aisle at the Notre-Dame Cathedral on sussex in Ottawa is one of the most beautiful ones in town. After the ceremony, we stayed around the church to photograph the families and the couple. We then took a walk downtown and kept on photographing this wonderful and fun couple. It’s so nice when the couple are exited about their photo session because we can do anything….Annyx was the best and her dancing background made her posing skills shine- she was really good…ok, so were you Martin … We made our way to the Nordik Spa in Chelsea for the reception and took advantage of the fall colors. The mature trees made this country spa setting breathtaking… What a perfect day! Here are some highlights of this fairy tale wedding day!
