Here is a look at Sophie and Remy’s wedding day. What a wonderful couple!!! They are kind, beautiful, generous and so organized…wow. I guess you have to be when you are both teachers, but, on a side note, this is the first time I see such an awesome color coordinated alphabatised wedding folder, LOL. Guy and I hit it off with them right away and we totally enjoyed getting to know them from the engagement session till now. They chose the Fairmont Château Montebello. The ceremony was held a few minutes away in the touristic town of Montebello, Quebec at the “Église de Notre-Dame-de-Bonsecours”. With Remy’s family flying in from France, it was the perfect venue that could offer both wedding day, logging and a great Canadian experience! Here are some hightlights of the wedding day.

Ottawa Winter Wedding – Aileen & Etienne
I wanted to share the highlights of this wonderful winter wedding on February 25, 2012 in Ottawa. We started the photo session at the newly renovated Westin Hotel. The view of the Ottawa city created a great backdrop for the preparations and the portrait photo session. The bride was wearing a tailor made originally designed purple dress and the groom had a purple shirt to compliment the color scheme. Their individuality, personality and love for each other shinned through the moment we arrived for the photo session. The bridal session, the families and the couple’s photos were all done before the ceremony at the Westin Hotel and at the Ottawa Convention Center. We had so much fun during the photo-shoot and that’s what it’s all about! We then made our way for the ceremony and reception at La Bekta Dinning. The wedding celebrations did not stop there, it kept on going the day after at Le Château Montebello hotel in Quebec, for a brunch for all their family and friends. There was plenty of snow at the rendez-vous and I was so glad because it created a wonderful winter scene! -and let’s not forget the blowing snow falling from the trees onto my Canon camera and 70-200mm lens…We ended with a photo session around the Chateau followed by a sleigh ride! Here are some highlights of the winter wedding day!
