Avery & Jasmin – Outdoor engagement Photography (Picnic Theme Photo Shoot)

Wow ! This is the one word I could find to describe this wonderful photo shoot with this wonderful couple. Guy and I are so happy to be photographing their destination wedding next year in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic! The couple wanted to stay away from the “beach theme” for this photo shoot as there will be plenty of sand and ocean themed images in their wedding photos….After talking about options… they went for an outdoors’ theme to illustrate how they like to spend time together! They love the outdoors, picnic’s & camping weekends, so why not just tag along “with our cameras” and record ” a day in the life of Avery & Jasmin”! We started the photo shoot at our studio in Cumberland Ontario using natural light. We then did a few photos around the pond at our outdoor studio and made our way to Petrie Island in Orleans to finish the photo shoot. It was pure joy to photograph them. The love they share is so infectious.. it just makes you want to photograph them for hours…Jasmin can’t stop smiling when he looks at Avery (she has that effect on everyone! ) Her beauty and bubbly, full of life personality mixed with his handsome charm and amazing personality make this couple perfect for each other! We really can’t wait to capture every moment of their special day!

Swat Police Portrait Photo Session – Ottawa Photography

Here is a sneak peek at a swat photo shoot. Motivation to create something unique often comes from an idea a client has. In this case, this clients vision was difficult to understand at first since we could not go on the field, but the more we talked about this project, the more we saw his vision. Understanding what a client wants is the key to creating something outstanding to them…and is it so rewarding to us as photographers. In this swat police portrait photo shoot, we incorporated our signature style of lighting to create mood and to focus on specific swat uniform parts and accessories. For the photo session outdoors, we used natural light. We shot this in late fall ( thanks to our clients recommendation)! The trees were almost bare creating a perfect backdrop for this type of environmental photography. I am so happy we could create artistic imagery and make each portrait storytelling and powerful. Wish you could all see the hard cover book printed on metallic paper, it is outstanding! Enjoy…

Ottawa Business Studio Portrait Photography

Here is a look at a business portrait done in our studio located at 2080 Old Montreal Road in Ottawa. This falls under the business – corporate category, but, I have to admit with a beautiful woman like Stephanie, we also did a little more portrait work as a gift for her husband…

Andree & Phil Engagement session in Ottawa
