M + D – OTTAWA ART GALLERY WEDDING – OAG
This was our first wedding at the new Ottawa Art Gallery and we must say we are IN LOVE!
If you are looking for a modern, sleek and minimalist space, look no further and book this venue!
The terrace is very spacious for your cocktail hour with a beautiful view and at night the wall lights up with opportunities to take nice artistic photos.
We started our day at Mike’s parents home and then made our way to Le Germain Hotel, conveniently located beside the OAG,
where Danielle got ready. The rooms at Le Germain are beautifully decorated with a modern contemporary style.
We then made our way to the Notre-Dame Cathedral for the ceremony. Afterwards we crossed the street and made our way to the National Art Gallery with the family and wedding
party. 2019 was a late blooming year for the crab apple trees so Danielle and Mike were lucky as the trees were in full bloom!

AMANDA & NICHOLAS SAY I DO AT THE FAIRMONT CHATEAU LAURIER IN OTTAWA
We had previously photographed Amanda’s sisters wedding (view here), and she followed in her sister’s footsteps and decided to get married at The Fairmont Chateau Laurier.
Nicholas got ready in the newly renovated presidential suite while Amanda got ready in a parlor room.
Since the couple wanted to enjoy their cocktail hour with their guests, we decided to do a first look and get most of the couple and wedding party photos done beforehand. A lot of couples are skeptical about doing a first looks as it breaks tradition, however here are a few reasons why couples should consider it (for full article click on the link):

Amanda and Nicholas said I Do in the Canadian room which was beautifully decorated by L’Orangerie Floral with a floral arch and candles.
The reception was held in the Adam Room, one of our favourite rooms, which is uniquely oval shaped.
The Chateau Laurier also accommodated Amanda’s dietary preference and created an all vegan menu for the couple and their guests.
Finally, the day couldn’t have gone more smoothly thanks to Stacey from The Design Co. , who worked her magic as always.
We loved this wedding so much we decided to make a feature wall in our studio, come book a consultation with us to view it!

LUXURY WEDDING AT OTTAWA’S FAIRMONT CHATEAU LAURIER – MARTIN PHOTOGRAPHY
A luxurious wedding in every way . Veronique & Nicolas are high-school sweethearts. They planned their dream wedding together and it was nothing short of extraordinary. September 23rd had record breaking weather at 40’C with the humidex, but that did not stop Vero from looking ever so glamorous! Chic wedding planners were on point the entire day, every detail were carefully planned and executed to perfection. The day started with the boy’s photography session at the groom’s parents home in Orleans. The bridal photos were done at the Fairmont Chateau Laurier in a newly renovated bridal suite that offered the perfect backdrop for the occasion. The ceremony was held at the Notre-Dame Cathedral in Ottawa. After the ceremony, the photos were taken around the Chateau Laurier.
The reception room was breathtaking. The couple got to enter the room before the guests so they could take a few moments to appreciate the beauty. During the reception, the speeches, entertainment, ambiance, food and service were top shelf. The couple’s families and friends were so loving and wonderful making this evening unforgettable. When the brides father played Despacito on the piano, the entire crowd made its way on the dance floor. Thank you to Vero and Nic for letting us witness and record this once in a lifetime union. Mariage de Valérie + Cédrick – Casselman & Hilton Lac-Leamy Wedding
A great friendship grew since we first met Valerie and Cedrick for their wedding consultation. Valerie planned every single detail of her wedding day and she did an amazing job. Just to paint you a picture: Val would show up coffee in hand while we first talked about her wedding…and then, we all ended up talking about everything else!!!!! From the engagement session to the save the date photos, from the invitations design to the last minute details, from corporate business photos to wedding photos, our friendship grew and grew!!! She holds a very important place in our hearts and, a special chair in our office, LOL. Her determination and attention to details made this wedding day one to remember!
The ceremony was held at the “paroisse Ste-Euphémie” in Casselman. The family, wedding party and couple photos were taken at the National Gallery of Canada. The reception was held in the Mozart room at the Hilton Lac-Leamy.
Love was in the air! The weather was amazing, the decorations by Makin’it Lovely and the flowers by Flore & Sens were beautiful, the service and food at the Hilton was excellent, the wedding cakes by The Girl With The Most Cake were scrumptious, the entertainment was awesome ” especially Cedrick’s original song he wrote and sang to Val! This was a top shelf wedding!
Congratulations to Valerie and Cedrick!! Val, you are so beautiful, elegant and sweet! Your wedding dress by Madison James fit you so perfectly. Cedrick, you are handsome, and a charmer!! Grace & Walied – Sts. Peter and Paul Melkite Catholic Church Wedding
What a wedding! Wow. Grace looked amazing and so did her handsome husband Walied. The ceremony was at the Sts. Peter and Paul Melkite Catholic Church and the reception was held at the Hampton Inn. The family photos were done at the Kingsview park close to the church and the bride and groom’s photos were taken around Ottawa at the Chateau Laurier. It was a dream wedding and one to remember.
