Ottawa Fall Family Session
Clients often ask us “when is a good time/age for family photos?” We always tell them “it’s always a good time!” With the beat of life being as hectic as it is these days, families have so much going on that often, taking a moment to capture important milestones may get put on the back burner.
This beautiful family came to us over the fall for their outdoor family session and we enjoyed every moment with them! We are so glad we were able to capture these beautiful family photos before their son sprouts up to six feet tall and refuses to cuddle with his younger sister for a photo. Lol! Because, as we all know, life happens in the blink of an eye !

Raising money for the Ottawa Food Bank – Front Step Project
Guess what!!??
Along with your help we surpassed our initial goal of 1500$ and managed to raise 1910$ for the Ottawa Food Bank!
We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who booked a porch session with us this past week and made donations!
It was a massive hit and loads of fun for us to photograph you all. We have never done so many shoots in so little time.

OTTAWA WINTER FAMILY SESSION
Here’s a look at a fun outdoor winter session we did with this cute family! Luckily it was a relatively warm day and we had just gotten some fluffy snow that stuck to the pine trees which made for a beautiful backdrop.

BABY SLOAN IS ALL GROWN UP – LIFESTYLE STUDIO PHOTOGRAPHY
“Baby Sloan” is the most adorable little girl. She is polite, pretty and determined to do things her way. Kids often dictate the photo sessions. Our job as photographers is to guide the child to the set, chair, rug or area we want them photographed in, and then, let their imagination and the magic happen. We have tricks up our sleeves, but sometime, even the funniest toy or most beautiful stuffed animal won’t make a difference in the world if the child does not want to be there. We need to build a trusting relationship first, get them to like us, and photograph in a non-obstructive style. This approach works really well when parents want a “lifestyle photo session”. Here are a few highlights!
