Fall weddings are awesome…..sometimes a little cold, but, the colors are always amazing. Stephanie and Lenny’s wedding was ” an amazing experience for me as a photographer” 🙂 . The bride was very relaxed, very beautiful and very much into the bridal photography session taken before the wedding at the Arc hotel in downtown Ottawa. Then, we were off to the outdoor ceremony site at Billings Estate Museum, Ottawa for a wonderful short and sweet ceremony. After exploiting the parks around the estate and taking the family photos, we were off to Sparks street. Lenny and Stephanie met at a pub, so,their request was simple ! They asked me to photograph them at the D’Arcy McGees pub to be exact. We were there for one hour, relaxing, chatting, laughing, taking wedding photos and enjoying,( yes, a first for me on the job) beer!!!. The staff  and their clients were totally into the photo shoot, allowing us the space we needed to get the job done. On top of that, the groom was totally relaxed and into the photo shoot to…. Isn’t this the perfect ” no stress” wedding recipe 🙂  As a photographer, our job is to listen to our clients and to try to see how they see their portrait images.  This proves that consultations and engagement sessions are  a must prior to the wedding day to get to know the couple and give them what they want. 

After the Ottawa sparks street and pub session, we made our way to the reception at the ” Canadian Aviation Museum“.  Blessed again with an amazing venue with great architecture, we had fun inside and outside the museum.  Thanks for trusting me to photograph your wedding day and for allowing me to capture through my lens, the love and happiness you share.  The two of you are perfect for each other!
