Krystal and Shawn have a beautiful dream property with horses and a riding arena in Edwards Ontario. When they started to plan the wedding, there was no question in their mind their home was going to be “the wedding venue”. We started the day at the bride and groom’s home with Shawn and his family. We then made our way to the parent’s newly renovated farm home 2 minutes from the couple’s property. The farm house provided the perfect rustic style and blended magically with the theme of the wedding. The ceremony was held outdoors next to the couple’s riding arena. They even built their own wedding arch out of distressed wood. The hanging flowers were in vintage medicine bottles… wow, this couple is so detailed oriented, they bring a whole new meaning to DIY weddings. They even had lavender in paper cones for the guests to throw like confetti for their first walk down the aisle as husband and wife! What a unique idea that gave us breathtaking photos. The couple photos, family and wedding party was done in their hay field. The weather was beautiful and their friends and family provided the perfect atmosphere! Love was in the air! The bride looked stunning in her Enzoani designer dress from Baroness Bridal Boutique. The groom looked equally charming sporting a cowboy hat for the couple’s session. The reception was held inside their riding arena. The decor included vintage typewriters , old rustic wood barrels, hay bales, antique tea cups and antique wagons. A perfect decor for a country chic outdoor wedding! Here is a look at some off the images of their wonderful day! To Krystal and Shawn: Congratulations and we wish you the best!

POTVIN & THOMPSON’S FAIRMONT MONTEBELLO WEDDING, QUEBEC
If you are planning a wedding at the Fairmont Chateau Montebello , have a look at this wedding.!!! Annabelle and Ben got married at the gazebo on the East side of the Montebello grounds overlooking the Ottawa River. This was the perfect backdrop for a beautiful dream wedding. Annabelle and Ben came all the way from Miami, Florida to get married at the famous Chateau Montebello. We photographed the groom and his groomsmen first, followed by the bride and bridesmaids. The chateau offers a dramatic style of lighting that works perfectly with the photos we wanted to achieve. The guests made their way to the gazebo while Annabelle and her father, Denis, arrived in style with a horse and carriage. After the ceremony, the guests enjoyed cocktails while we did the family, wedding party and couple photos. The reception was in the Canadian room and, to the couple’s surprise, they were greeted by the wedding party holding hockey sticks above their heads (a tribute to all the NHL hockey players in the room). The live band was amazing and the speeches were heartfelt. A great wedding reception to a perfect wedding day! To Annabelle and Ben: Enjoy your new married life. We wish you all the happiness, health and success you deserve. It was an honour to be a part of your big day!

Christina & Daniel – Notre Dame Cathedral Basilica of Ottawa Wedding
Christina and Daniel got married last September at the famous Ottawa Landmark Notre Dame Basilica. What a beautiful day. We can say it was perfect. When we got to the Bernado’s home for the groom’s coverage, we got a warm welcome from mom, dad , family and friends. The house was photo ready already!!! Mom was serving all the special appetizers and treats she had spent hours making and the boys were having a blast. We then made our way to the Timpson’s home for the bridal photos. Christina was beautiful in her Mori Lee wedding dress. The ambience in the house was amazing…All the family and friends were there to see her walk down the stairs…let’s just say the party had already started! The ceremony was held at the Notre dame Basilica and the family photos were done on the church grounds. We then took photos around the church, National Art Gallery, Chateau Laurier and the locks at the Rideau Canal ( A big thank you goes to the young man that took a polaroid snap of the couple and gave it to them as a souvenir, it made a great photo!!!) The bride, groom and wedding party were the best models!!! We had so much fun during the photo session, it was a blast! The reception was held at the Centurian Banquet Hall on Colonade Road in Ottawa. The evening was filled with love and laughter while the live music and the MC offered amazing entertainment….To top it off, Elvis even showed up to give a 30 minute show! Just when we were leaving, the buffet was served. I have never seen so much homemade goodies at a wedding before. Everything was so good! To Christina and Daniel: May your lives be filled with greatness, love, health and lot’s of babies!!! It was a great memorable wedding and a pleasure to be a part of it!

Elaine & Jack’s May Wedding- St. Margaret Mary Parish & Camelot Golf and Country Club
Sometimes, you just get it… that connection with someone. You just start talking and see eye to eye. This is exactly what happened when Elaine and I started talking on the phone about her big day! In a nutshell, we knew each other’s life story! It is important to find the time to get to know your clients before you photograph their wedding. Everyone is different and what is important to someone, might not be the same to someone else. This being said, Elaine and Jack found each other after similar circumstances brought them together. Friendship turned into love, and in May 2015, they got to walk down the aisle at St. Margaret Mary’s church in Cumberland. Jack’s photo session was done at our Cumberland studio while Elaine’s bridal session was photographed at the couple’s beautiful home. After the ceremony, I got the latter out of my SUV to get that one important picture…”the group photo in front of the church”. Family photos followed the ceremony on the church property. Elaine and Jack’s official couple photos were done back at our studio. We took advantage of the indoor studio to warm up a little, but the chilly weather was not a problem for this couple, they spiced things up just looking at each other! The reception was a few steps away at the Camelot Golf and Country Club . Everything was amazing; the gorgeous view; the service; the atmosphere; the heart felt speeches; the decorations and photo booth and the awesome live music from the band “Another Level”. I was so impressed by this live band, they knew how to get a crowd moving! In all, it was a superb day. To Elaine and Jack: You two are wonderful, kind, generous and beautiful inside and out! I wish you the best in your new lives as husband and wife and thank you for allowing Guy and I to record your special day through images that will keep this day alive forever!

FRANCE & MARCO – CAMELOT GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB WEDDING
Another beautiful couple!!! We started the wedding day at the bride and groom’s home for Marco’s photo session with his family and groomsmen. We then made our way to France’s parent’s house for her bridal images. France looked stunning in her wedding dress. She designed it herself and David from McCaffrey’s haute couture in Ottawa made her vision come to life. After the ceremony, we came to our studio for some family, wedding party and couple photos. Despite the rain, we knew we would have amazing images because we had our studio 2 minutes from their reception venue. After the photo session, we arrived at the Camelot Golf and Country Club on time for a few outdoor photos under the umbrella and around the main entrance. The room was beautifully decorated and the service, the food and the entertainment was great. Here are some highlights of this wonderful day. Congratulations to France and Marco!
