MICHELLE & HARVEY’S OTTAWA WEDDING – NEXT RESTAURANT & N.A.C.
Michelle and Harvey tied the knot last May. The ceremony was preformed at the National Art Center. While the guests were enjoying lunch, we took the couple and the bridal party for a walk around the downtown core. The Chateau Laurier, the locks, the canal, and Major Hill’s Park gave us great backdrops as we took beautiful pictures of this gorgeous couple. Of course, it had to be the hottest day of the summer, with the weather reaching 38 degrees, but this couple did not let the heat slow them down. The photos continued at a Stittsville park after the couple changed for their wedding reception. The evening held at Next restaurent, was filled with fun, laughter, heartfelt speeches, awesome food and entertainment. (We were even treated to a solo signing performance by the bride’s father!). In all, it was a perfect day.

The Partridge family wanted their family session to be at their farm home in Cumberland. We photographed them using a lifestyle and candid approach, among with traditional posing. A late afternoon appointment is best to achieve this look.

Melissa + Paul, Bean Town Ranch Wedding
This lovely couple from Whitehorse, Yukon decided to get married in this part of town! Melissa is from Cumberland Ontario and we did their engagement session at the Cumberland Museum. For their ceremony and reception venue, they choose the Bean Town Ranch. Everything was wonderful; the weather, the venue, the entertainment from pianist and singer Kimberley Dunn, the food. There were even fireworks accross the lake after diner. What a great day. The bride looked stunning in her Lis Simon wedding gown made from a Canadian designer from Calgary. The groom looked evenly stylish sporting a dark grey suit. Together, they are one and proved that weddings are wonderfull and so worth the effort. Here are some highlight!

Our photography studio in Cumberland (20 minutes from downtown Ottawa) offers great indoor background all year round. You don’t have to wait for good weather to get your family photos done. Try to dress in similar colour tones for a best results. Remember in portraiture, we love the focus to be on your face. A typical family session will take about one hour. During this time, we take many different compositions and groupings. We can do individual portraits, couple, siblings and some families even take to time to change clothes to best match the different backgrounds they choose. A consultation is always recommended! Ottawa Gymnastics Duo – Elodie et Julie-Anne – Photographie de Sport
WOW!!!! Incroyable. Élodie et Julie-Anne ont commencées la gymnastique à l’âge de 5 ans (Julie-Anne) et 6 ans (Élodie). Elle sont devenues amies en 2010 lorsqu’elle s’entraînait toutes les deux dans le même groupe de gymnastique provincial à Tumblers. Bien qu’elle soit toutes les deux « retraitées » à cause de blessures, elle s’entrainent plusieurs fois par semaine. La passion pour ce sport existe encore très fort pour ces deux amies!!! Cette prise de vue était simplement pour le plaisir, et pour illustrer leur amitié et leur passion pour la gym et la contorsion. En voici quelques exemples.

Kim & Matt’s NEXT Restaurant Stittsville ON Wedding with Chef Blackie
What a day! This was like a fairytale wedding . Everything was perfect. The day started with the groom’s coverage and the bride’s portrait bridal session before the wedding. Then, we all made our way to a private park for the bride and groom and wedding party photos. A first look was carefully organized and directed by us, and then, the magic happened, the first look was captured on camera as beautifully as it was felt between Kim & Matt. Kim looked absolutely breathtaking in her Rue De Seine gown from Loversland boutique in Toronto. All the bridal party looked fabulous, the gray and yellow color scheme matched perfectly with the Boho Chic theme of this wedding. The ceremony and reception was held at the Next restaurent in Stittsville Ontario. Chef Blackie and the staff at the restaurant made sure the guests received top notch service and amazing food. The timeline, decor and details could not have been planned better thanks to the help of Joelle Martin. In all, this was a day that can never be forgotten. To Kim and Matt, we wish you the best in your new lives together as husband and wife. May all your dreams come true !
