Amy Smith – Ottawa Modeling, Glamour & Boudoir Photography

I can’t say enough about Amy Smith. Sweet, gorgeous, generous, stunning, funny….in short: a photographers dream!. She came in to get her boudoir / glamour photos done at our studio during the Christmas rush and made time stop 🙂 We forgot we were working 16 hours a day and just had soooooooo much fun. She’s great in front of the camera and lights up any room we posed her in.

Large Group Family Photography in Ottawa

Here is a look at a family session photographed in December in our studio. The Tannis family were photographed 10 years ago at our old studio on Youville drive and they were ready for an update. Thanks to Sonia, (who made this possible even with all the different schedules)….we got the job done! A beautiful 24×36 inch framed canvas was delivered just on time for Christmas!

We can accommodate large groups ( up to approx. 45 people). We then photograph the immediate family, the grandparents (as a couple or with their grand children) and each individual family. A session will last from 1 to 2 hours. For more information, call us at 613-824-8525.

Pam & Simon – Ottawa Wedding Photography

Well this one does not need a lot of words.., just look at the breathtaking images taken by our candid extraordinaire photographer Joelle Martin and her photographer friend / assistant for the day, Baz kanda . Pamella and Simon got a little bit of rain on their wedding day , but that’s good luck, right ! Ok , so it was pouring… but, that did not stop the photos, the love in the air and the fun. The day started at the Orchard View Wedding & Conference Center in Ottawa for the bridal session and the outdoor ceremony. Then, they made their way downtown Ottawa for photos around the market and the local shops. One of the couple’s favorite picture is the one taken inside the Terence Robert Gallery though the window!. The photo session went extremely well, everyone was very relaxed and Pam & Simon were (as Joelle quoted)…””just wonderful””. The day ended at the Hilton Garden Inn Ottawa Airport hotel in Ottawa. Here are the highlights of the day!

Ottawa Wedding – Stephanie & Shane’s wedding Day

Stephanie & Shane got married on a Friday in July and Joelle and I had the honor of photographing their special day. We love to photograph engagement session around Ottawa because it’s a great way to get to know our couples better before the wedding…but, that special spark ignites the day of the wedding 🙂

Shane got right into his photo session ( with the help of his groomsmen of course – let’s say some of them where really into it, it was great!) Then, we went to the brides home, and Steph was sooooooooooooo comfortable in front of the camera ( This bride can move :)) Stephanie is our model bride of the year ! She gave us so many different expressions per minute and moved like she had done photo sessions all her life.

The day was perfect, and the bride and groom were perfect for each other! We had a blast photographing them and their wedding party at the National gallery of canada. After the wedding ceremony at the Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica, we walked around the By-ward market. We made our way to the reception at the Fairmont Chateau Laurier. Here are some highlights of their wedding day!

Theressa & Kurtis In LoVe – Ottawa Wedding Photography

A long drive to Stittsville very early in the morning brought Joelle and I to a beautiful home filled with love and warmth (and a wonderful family). Kurtis was getting ready on one side of the house, while his fiance Theressa was in the master suite. They could hear each other, but, could not see each other! Joelle and I had fun keeping them occupied with the photo session and working the different rooms hiding them from each other. Morning session done… we were on our way to the ceremony at the Courtyard restaurant for 10 AM. Lynne and Keith Langille from Exceptional Ceremonies were the officiants and they preformed a personalized beautiful ceremony as always! I love being a wedding photographer and having the privilege to be present on one of the most important days of their lives. Even after all the wedding I photograph, I still get caught up in the moment and, as the tears fill my eyes I am grateful I have automatic focus on my canon camera, ouffff!!! We stayed around the By ward market and courtyard area for the photo session and had a blast. What a wonderful couple and you’ll see why we say Theressa has a “million dollar smile”.
