Valérie & Grant Clitsome – Ottawa Wedding Photography

Karina & Danny – Ottawa Wedding Photography
Karina & Danny met in 2004 at College Boreal in Sudbury at the volleyball meeting. Karina was studying at the library and Danny came up to her and ask asked if they could sit together on the school bus trip for the volleyball tournament. Their first <<official>> date was on Halloween.
It took seven years for Danny proposed to Karina on February 9, 2011 before going on vacation to Edmonton. Here is what Karina had to say about it “It was our first time having a vacation together, first airplane ride and first time visiting Edmonton. We are big hockey fans, we went to see Edmonton Oilers vs Ottawa Senators in Edmonton. Quite an experience!! Danny’s favorite hockey team: Edmonton Oilers Karina’s favorite hockey team: Ottawa Senators. Danny’s smile was priceless when we first walked in the Rexall Arena where the Edmonton Oilers played. The Senators did win that game!!! Too bad for Danny!”
Well, I can say : Lucky you Danny because Karina said yes! You two make a wonderful couple, so in love and so compatible. We wish you happiness, health and lot’s of kids to make your own volleyball team:)

Adele & Jonathan Robinson – Wedding Photography – Bean Town Ranch
August is a beautiful month for weddings! The foliage is at it’s best and the lighting is amazing… Add a couple in love…and you have everything to create the perfect wedding photos. Adele and Jonathan’s wedding was on a friday. It was rainy and sunny throughout the day making us use our creativity even more as we were running from indoors to outdoors. We did not want to stop taking photos; Bean town ranch is a wonderful place for wedding photography! The backdrops are beautiful and every where you look, there are more areas to discover. Genevieve and her staff were really helpful making it great and easy to coordinate all the photos. During the diner, we had a great performance from Adele’s father who interpreted his rendition to the song ” Mrs Robinson” since his daughter officially took on that family name!!! We ended diner with the ” Bean Town ranch’s famous crepe vanilla ice cream dessert..!!! Here are some highlights from the wedding day. Congratulations again Adele and Jonathan, you make a wonderful couple!

Stephanie & Doug Say I Do at the Auberge Des Gallant in Rigaud Quebec
Stephanie & Doug said I do on a warm sunny afternoon in an outdoor ceremony you see in movies! The day started with the bride and her entourage in the bridal suite. All the beautiful hair and makeup was done by Melissa Robert. Stephanie looked radiant in her dress by Maggie Sottero. Her bubbly personality, her beauty and her great attitude made the bridal session fun and relaxing. We took photos all around the auberge with her family and friends. We then took some time to photograph the groom and his family and friends before the ceremony.
The lovely country wedding ceremony was preformed by the most professional and charming wedding officiant ,Lynne Langille from Exceptional Ceremonies. She even took the time to make it “personal” by sharing the couple’s journey from the time they met (this part was really funny and most entertaining) to the birth of their beautiful baby girl Ashley! The groom, looked especially charming with Ashley in his arms, waiting for his bride to come down the aisle. We loved working with this couple! Doug has an amazing sense of humor and made us laugh all day! Doug and Stephanie compliment each other so well, they are really a perfect match. I loved watching them interact during the portrait session. We were also very impressed by the staff at the Auberge des Gallant. If you are planning a country style wedding outside of Ottawa on the Quebec side, then, Auberge des Gallant will not disappoint. The appetizers were amazing and the service was impeccable. We took the bridal party to the Botanical gardens located on the other side of their property ( a 2 minute limo ride + 5 minute walk ) and the auberge des gallant staff arrived 15 minutes later with drinks, water and appetizers for everyone… WOW! I have never seen this kind of service by a reception venue before. After the wedding portrait session, Doug and Stephanie made their grand entrance “officially” as husband and wife…What a beautiful day! Here are a few highlights we wanted to share with you.

Sanaz & Yashar – Engagement session – Ottawa, Ontario
Everything started at Carleton university in 2008 for this couple! The bride explains how they met” It was a first day of a school and we were both in our 3rd year of engineering, Yashar was with his friends (who I knew too) when I joined them to go to the library. There was something there…..we were walking and talking and we had no idea we were already in the library…time just stood still, it was a magical moment. In February 2010, at a cozy restaurant in Old Montreal, he proposed. It was so perfect and I could not stop crying, I was so happy that although it was cold and snowy I could walk in my high heels and thin jacket without complaining:). That spring, we both graduated together from the Engineering program. After he finished his Master’s degree, we got married!”
This is a wonderful, beautiful, smart couple meant to be together. We created amazing images with them during their engagement session and their wedding. Here is what the bride has to say about us:” We are so happy and special thanks to all of you, you are the best photographers ever, and we really mean it, you have no idea how much you guys made ourselves and our family happy and proud with your great job! (so far it is been next to impossible to look throught all the wedding images and not cry)”.

Christine & Damien – Mariage – Le Belvédère, Wakefield, Quebec
When Christine and Damien met over 5 years ago, it was love at first sight. Damien was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors, and Christine was a city girl….. you know what they say! Opposites always attract. On their first date, Damien took Christine to his cottage. The most romantic and perfect setting was at the rendez-vous; a sunset, a beach and of course…a first kiss. Years later, at sunset, Damien surprised Christine by proposing, down on one knee, at that same exact location.
Christine and Damien got married on June 9th, 2012 at Le Belvédère, a new wedding, meeting and specials events center located thirty minutes north of Ottawa, just outside of Wakefield Quebec. They planned their wedding around their love of nature and the beautiful scenery overlooking the Gatineau parks! The ceremony was breathtaking! As a photographer, I totally recommend this venue. The wedding party was amazing, everyone laughed and we had a blast during the photo shot at the red covered bridge and then, driving around wakefield to find a dock. What an adventure. Their grand entrance was like one in the movies- they had their fist dance surrounded by all their guests while a pitch perfect singer (and friend of the couple) interpreted the classic love song “At Last” from Etta James… Photographing Christine and Damien’s wedding was a real treat. Their beauty, personality and love for each other was effortlessly captured through the lens making this wedding, one to remember!
