The day first started in Orleans at the bride’s parents home. What a moment it was when mom helped Caro put on her dress…and then, when dad walked in.. the emotions, the tears, the love this family shares is so incredible… there was not a dry eye in the room. Caro looked so amazing in her Winifred by Sottero and Midgley wedding gown. Her natural beauty is exceptional and when she laughs, she lights up the room! After the bridal session, we made our way to Le Belvédère for the grooms photo session. Phil looked so handsome and the boys helped make the photo session a fun and relaxing experience! It was a gorgeous day , therefore, the ceremony was on the Cliffside! This ceremony site is so amazing! After the celebration, the family photos were taken with the amazing Gatineau Hills in the background and off we went to the Wakefield covered bridge for a little bit of variety. We photographed the wedding party and couple on the bridge and came back to the Belvedere for more couple photos. The reception followed with great entertainment, food and service. You had to do power lifting or sit ups and pushups to get the couple to kiss!! The MC was hilarious and when the live band “ Sway” started to play, that got the party started. What an incredible night for an exceptional couple. Caro and Phil: Congratulations ! You are wonderful together, beautiful in every way .We are so happy for you!
A luxurious wedding in every way . Veronique & Nicolas are high-school sweethearts. They planned their dream wedding together and it was nothing short of extraordinary. September 23rd had record breaking weather at 40’C with the humidex, but that did not stop Vero from looking ever so glamorous! Chic wedding planners were on point the entire day, every detail were carefully planned and executed to perfection. The day started with the boy’s photography session at the groom’s parents home in Orleans. The bridal photos were done at the Fairmont Chateau Laurier in a newly renovated bridal suite that offered the perfect backdrop for the occasion. The ceremony was held at the Notre-Dame Cathedral in Ottawa. After the ceremony, the photos were taken around the Chateau Laurier.
The reception room was breathtaking. The couple got to enter the room before the guests so they could take a few moments to appreciate the beauty. During the reception, the speeches, entertainment, ambiance, food and service were top shelf. The couple’s families and friends were so loving and wonderful making this evening unforgettable. When the brides father played Despacito on the piano, the entire crowd made its way on the dance floor. Thank you to Vero and Nic for letting us witness and record this once in a lifetime union. Congratulations!
We love LE BELVEDERE !!! Le Belvédère is situated on the edge of a cliff overlooking the spectacular Gatineau Hills just 30 minutes from Ottawa. We are so happy Jessica and Elias chose this wedding venue for their perfect day!
Elias got ready at the The Wakefield Grand. This venue owned by Le Belvedere is the perfect spot to photograph the boys getting ready. The outdoor pathway leading to the entrance and the curved brick walls are spectacular in photos! Jessica’s gorgeous gown was by Martina Liana for Essence of Australia. Jessica’s family and the girls got ready at Le Belvedere’s GUESTHOUSE. The first look was done just outside the Guesthouse and at the Wakefield Bridge.
The celebration and reception took place at Le Belvédère in Wakefield The ceremony was performed by Keith from Lynne and Keith’s Exceptional Ceremonies. They always puts just the right amount of humour and take the time to get to know the couple to make the vows extra special for them! After the cliffside ceremony, we were blessed with beautiful weather, delicious hors d’oeuvres and live music during the cocktail. After family and couple photos on site, we went in a field for additional photos with the couple and their wedding party. Wedecor did a fabulous job once again at decorating the reception hall and ceremony. The couple’s first dance was under the stars with a beautiful display of sparklers. Thank you to Le Belvedere for coordinating this wonderful moment.
To Jessica and Elias: You are amazing together. The sparks fly when you gaze into each others eyes. Elias, when you performed your song and dance for Jessica, it was like we were at a concert, it was awesome!!! You have so much talent. Jessica, you were stunning in your wedding dress. Your grace and beauty is beyond compare. It was a pleasure to get to know you and to be a part of your special day. We hope you can relive your wedding day each time you look at your photos!
Beautiful, Classy, Relaxing, Romantic, Loving, Timeless! Those words describe this wedding so well.
We were blessed with a beautiful couple, perfect weather and the most amazing forest ever! Love was truly in the air. The ceremony was held at the church “Très-Sainte-Trinité” in Rockland. All the couple, family and wedding party photos were taken at a private farm near Rockland. The reception was held at the Hammond Golf Club.
Congratulations to the happy couple and thank you for being sooooooooooo in love! It was effortless to capture what you were feeling that day for each other. It is beautiful and so rewarding to photograph a couple that are truly perfect together!
So much preparation and effort goes out into planning weddings. It takes a year or more to plan everything… up to the little details that make each weddings unique. We are proud to be a part of this process and to help our couples get as much information possible. Planning is the key! We are here to help as this is not our first rodeo. Since 1982, our studio has photographed well over 1300 weddings! We put so much effort in what we do and continue to offer a wide range of printed albums, photos and wall size signature collection portraits! Weddings are rewarding to photograph and give us an incredible feeling of creative satisfaction!(especially when the couples get to see the photos for the first time).
Martine and Marc’s wedding is a perfect example of why we love our job! When we found out how Marc proposed, we knew we had to documents their love story. This beautiful, sweet, totally in love, adorable couple gave us “Carte Blanche” to create beautiful memorable images for them. They had 100% confidence in us and we took the time to get to know them, and find out what style of photography they loved. They choose the amazing Le Belvédère in Wakefield as their wedding venue. The beautiful flowers and decorations were done by Wedecor.
To Martine and Marc: Your vows were so beautiful and emotional, there was not a dry eye in the audience (including us, at one point, we were hiding our tears behind the camera). The photography session during the cocktails went so well. It was so easy to capture the love you have for one another. Your wedding party was awesome and we loved photographing your families. Fast forwarding to the reception, the speeches were memorable, heartfelt and hilarious!!! Who knew your childhood memories could be so entertaining! Your siblings did a fine job at painting us a clear picture! You are blessed because you are surrounded by families and friends that love you so much. Congratulations! (P.S.: To the bridesmaid who had the same cell phone we did… sorry for accidentally taking it during the whole reception, LOL…We are so happy we realized it before we left!)
Amélie and Luc’s wedding day was absolutely picture perfect. Their home was beautifully decorated and offered a perfect backdrop for bridal photos. Amelie looked absolutely stunning in her “Mikaella wedding gown” and Luc, so handsome in his blue “Paul Betemly” suit. Everyone was so great and helpful, it made the morning photo session a breeze!
After the groom and bride’s getting ready photo sessions were done, we made our way to the Tropical Greenhouse (Central Experimental Farm) to capture the first look and the wedding party photos . It was the perfect location as we practically had the whole place to ourselves. Beautiful weather, beautiful couple and beautiful everything!!! It was a fantastic adventure!
Our final destination was Next restaurent. The ceremony was performed by Lynne from the amazing team of Lynne & Keith Exceptional Ceremonies . It was a unique interactive ceremony where she got the guests up on their feet and 100% invested in their union. It was so refreshing and gave us a lot of great photo opportunities. During the cocktails, we left the restaurent for a short time to take family photos and some more couple photos! The reception followed and NeXT restaurant once again were a big part of making this wedding day a success.
Lavender was the colour, love brought them together, happiness forever! Congratulation Amélie and Luc!!!
Congratulations to Julie and James! A beautiful intimate backyard wedding to remember for always!

We are now at PART THREE – The reception at the Hilton Lac-Leamy.
The room is transformed into a breathtaking, luxurious decor nothing short of what you would see on a movie set. The crab apple trees are the centre of the attention again as they stand on each side of the head table with a branch cascading above them to form the perfect setting fit for the happy couple. No details has been left out. Even the bride and groom’s monogram is on display on the walls on each side of the room. The vendors team lead by Bharat Rudra has been on there “A game” for days. Seema Haider had the privilege to once again do the makeup and hair for Shilpa and her family. When we first saw Shilpa in her purple dress we were blown away by her beauty. Alex looked ever so handsome in his classic tux and bow tie look! But most important was how sweet, respectful, patient and totally in love Shilpa and Alex were throughout these busy days. They are truly a class act! Their families are nothing short of wonderful either! They treated their guests like royalty. From the cocktails and canapés , the breakfasts and diners, the chocolat treats, desserts and entertainment, the guest felt like superstars for days. Both families, the Eastmen’s and the Goel’s, greated each guest with the same attention. The wedding party along with their friends even prepared a dance and song number and made a hilarious reenactment of Alex’s proposal to Shilpa. The speeches were heartfelt, the couple’s first dance was amazing with Alex twirling Shilpa on the dance floor showing of her gorgeous gown. Once the party started, it was nonstop. What a night…. In fact , what an amazing weekend!!!!
Here are some highlights of the reception photographed by Julie, assisted by Joelle. To see part one and part two, just click on the two posts below this one! Enjoy !
Here is PART TWO – The Hindu Ceremony of this multicultural Christian and Hindu Wedding. We started in the afternoon after we got a little break to mingle and eat with all the guests. Shilpa changes her hair and make-up and put on a gorgeous Hindu wedding dress. Alex, also changed to get ready for the Baraat ceremony. With a team of professional musicians from Montreal and a crowd of 500 people, the Hilton Lac-Leamy parking lot turned into a big parade!!! It was amazing! After this, we took photos of the couple, wedding party and families around the Casino and the Hilton Lac Leamy. The Hindu ceremony was in the evening followed by Indian wedding games. It was an incredible day filled with laughter, love and happiness. Here is a look at a few of the highlights of the day. Stay tuned for PART THREE – THE RECEPTION.
