A luxurious wedding in every way . Veronique & Nicolas are high-school sweethearts. They planned their dream wedding together and it was nothing short of extraordinary. September 23rd had record breaking weather at 40’C with the humidex, but that did not stop Vero from looking ever so glamorous! Chic wedding planners were on point the entire day, every detail were carefully planned and executed to perfection. The day started with the boy’s photography session at the groom’s parents home in Orleans. The bridal photos were done at the Fairmont Chateau Laurier in a newly renovated bridal suite that offered the perfect backdrop for the occasion. The ceremony was held at the Notre-Dame Cathedral in Ottawa. After the ceremony, the photos were taken around the Chateau Laurier.
The reception room was breathtaking. The couple got to enter the room before the guests so they could take a few moments to appreciate the beauty. During the reception, the speeches, entertainment, ambiance, food and service were top shelf. The couple’s families and friends were so loving and wonderful making this evening unforgettable. When the brides father played Despacito on the piano, the entire crowd made its way on the dance floor. Thank you to Vero and Nic for letting us witness and record this once in a lifetime union. Congratulations!
So much preparation and effort goes out into planning weddings. It takes a year or more to plan everything… up to the little details that make each weddings unique. We are proud to be a part of this process and to help our couples get as much information possible. Planning is the key! We are here to help as this is not our first rodeo. Since 1982, our studio has photographed well over 1300 weddings! We put so much effort in what we do and continue to offer a wide range of printed albums, photos and wall size signature collection portraits! Weddings are rewarding to photograph and give us an incredible feeling of creative satisfaction!(especially when the couples get to see the photos for the first time).
Martine and Marc’s wedding is a perfect example of why we love our job! When we found out how Marc proposed, we knew we had to documents their love story. This beautiful, sweet, totally in love, adorable couple gave us “Carte Blanche” to create beautiful memorable images for them. They had 100% confidence in us and we took the time to get to know them, and find out what style of photography they loved. They choose the amazing Le Belvédère in Wakefield as their wedding venue. The beautiful flowers and decorations were done by Wedecor.
To Martine and Marc: Your vows were so beautiful and emotional, there was not a dry eye in the audience (including us, at one point, we were hiding our tears behind the camera). The photography session during the cocktails went so well. It was so easy to capture the love you have for one another. Your wedding party was awesome and we loved photographing your families. Fast forwarding to the reception, the speeches were memorable, heartfelt and hilarious!!! Who knew your childhood memories could be so entertaining! Your siblings did a fine job at painting us a clear picture! You are blessed because you are surrounded by families and friends that love you so much. Congratulations! (P.S.: To the bridesmaid who had the same cell phone we did… sorry for accidentally taking it during the whole reception, LOL…We are so happy we realized it before we left!)
Amélie and Luc’s wedding day was absolutely picture perfect. Their home was beautifully decorated and offered a perfect backdrop for bridal photos. Amelie looked absolutely stunning in her “Mikaella wedding gown” and Luc, so handsome in his blue “Paul Betemly” suit. Everyone was so great and helpful, it made the morning photo session a breeze!
After the groom and bride’s getting ready photo sessions were done, we made our way to the Tropical Greenhouse (Central Experimental Farm) to capture the first look and the wedding party photos . It was the perfect location as we practically had the whole place to ourselves. Beautiful weather, beautiful couple and beautiful everything!!! It was a fantastic adventure!
Our final destination was Next restaurent. The ceremony was performed by Lynne from the amazing team of Lynne & Keith Exceptional Ceremonies . It was a unique interactive ceremony where she got the guests up on their feet and 100% invested in their union. It was so refreshing and gave us a lot of great photo opportunities. During the cocktails, we left the restaurent for a short time to take family photos and some more couple photos! The reception followed and NeXT restaurant once again were a big part of making this wedding day a success.
Lavender was the colour, love brought them together, happiness forever! Congratulation Amélie and Luc!!!
Here is PART ONE of this amazing wedding. I had to split this two day wedding in three parts as there are so many photos we wanted to share. The day started at 7h00 AM for us, so imagine how early it started for the bride and groom!!! The morning preparations were done at the Hilton Lac-Leamy. The Presidential suite is breathtaking and offered the perfect backdrop for this luxurious wedding. Seema Haider makeup artist and her team did a wonderful job getting the bride, her family and wedding party ready on time. Bharat Rudra coordinated the wedding and made sure all the vendors, couple and family members knew exactly were to be at all times. To bring the “mother nature” team indoors, the decorating team made replicas of crab apple trees in bloom. It was perfect with the white and blush colour palette. This was an early Cristian wedding to honour the groom’s family traditions. We took some additional photos of the family and wedding party around the Hilton. We then crossed over to the Ottawa side for more photos around the National Gallery of Canada. We were back at the Hilton for lunch and to get ready for the Hindu Celebration! (Thank you Shilpa and Alex for being so amazing and for looking soooooo gorgeous. You two were so fun to work with and were truly a joy to photograph.
Stay tuned for PART TWO of Shilpa and Alex’s Hindu Wedding.
This lovely couple tied the knot last fall. The day started on the Ontario side at both their home and parents home. The wedding was held at the “Paroisse St-Jacques” on Notre Dame Street, in Embrun,Ontario. This is a very majestic church in the middle of a small village that looks amazing visually, especially on photos!!! After the church wedding, we crossed over to the Quebec side to make our way to the Chateau Montebello. We love photographing weddings at Montebello. The scenery, the river, the marina, the chateau, the iconic fireplace, la maison Papineau, the stables, the trails in the woods… you name it, they have it. Let’s not forget to mention the staff at the hotel, always friendly and very helpful. The evening was filled with heartfelt speeches, lot’s of laughter, amazing family and friends and lot’s of dancing!!!
To Mauranne and Marc: It was a privilege to record the events of your wedding day! You are truly beautiful and we wish you the best in the new chapter of your lives together. May these wedding photos help keep the memories of your day alive and we hope you enjoy them for years to come!
Here are a some highlights of the day!
Katrina and David had a wonderful wedding at the Brookstreet Hotel. The hotel was perfect for the bridal sessions with large windows and plenty of natural light. Katrina had a suite with a very modern fell giving me great photo opportunities. A first look was carefully organized outside the hotel so David and Katrina could see each other for the very first time that day. All the photos were taken around Brookstreet Hotel! The ceremony and reception followed. The service and the food were exceptional. To Katrina and David, you two are amazing together. The love you share is so eminent and when you looked at each other, it was easy to capture true love. Congratulations again and thank you for allowing me to create wonderful memories of your wedding day!
What a wedding! Wow. Grace looked amazing and so did her handsome husband Walied. The ceremony was at the Sts. Peter and Paul Melkite Catholic Church and the reception was held at the Hampton Inn. The family photos were done at the Kingsview park close to the church and the bride and groom’s photos were taken around Ottawa at the Chateau Laurier. It was a dream wedding and one to remember. Congratulation to the wonderful couple. We are honoured that you chose us to be your wedding photographers.
Dan and Vero are a wonderful couple. Their wedding day was amazing and everything was perfect. The photos were taken downtown Ottawa and the reception was held at the Brookstreet hotel. Congratulations to the new couple and we wish you lot’s of happiness!
