Just wanted to re-post those three wedding photos taken at the W Montreal Hotel. They are cropped on my website and a bride just asked me if I could post them full size! Wedding photos always need a little fashion flare! Here they are…

Stephanie & Doug said I do on a warm sunny afternoon in an outdoor ceremony you see in movies! The day started with the bride and her entourage in the bridal suite. All the beautiful hair and makeup was done by Melissa Robert. Stephanie looked radiant in her dress by Maggie Sottero. Her bubbly personality, her beauty and her great attitude made the bridal session fun and relaxing. We took photos all around the auberge with her family and friends. We then took some time to photograph the groom and his family and friends before the ceremony.
The lovely country wedding ceremony was preformed by the most professional and charming wedding officiant ,Lynne Langille from Exceptional Ceremonies. She even took the time to make it “personal” by sharing the couple’s journey from the time they met (this part was really funny and most entertaining) to the birth of their beautiful baby girl Ashley! The groom, looked especially charming with Ashley in his arms, waiting for his bride to come down the aisle. We loved working with this couple! Doug has an amazing sense of humor and made us laugh all day! Doug and Stephanie compliment each other so well, they are really a perfect match. I loved watching them interact during the portrait session. We were also very impressed by the staff at the Auberge des Gallant. If you are planning a country style wedding outside of Ottawa on the Quebec side, then, Auberge des Gallant will not disappoint. The appetizers were amazing and the service was impeccable. We took the bridal party to the Botanical gardens located on the other side of their property ( a 2 minute limo ride + 5 minute walk ) and the auberge des gallant staff arrived 15 minutes later with drinks, water and appetizers for everyone… WOW! I have never seen this kind of service by a reception venue before. After the wedding portrait session, Doug and Stephanie made their grand entrance “officially” as husband and wife…What a beautiful day! Here are a few highlights we wanted to share with you.

When Christine and Damien met over 5 years ago, it was love at first sight. Damien was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors, and Christine was a city girl….. you know what they say! Opposites always attract. On their first date, Damien took Christine to his cottage. The most romantic and perfect setting was at the rendez-vous; a sunset, a beach and of course…a first kiss. Years later, at sunset, Damien surprised Christine by proposing, down on one knee, at that same exact location.
Christine and Damien got married on June 9th, 2012 at Le Belvédère, a new wedding, meeting and specials events center located thirty minutes north of Ottawa, just outside of Wakefield Quebec. They planned their wedding around their love of nature and the beautiful scenery overlooking the Gatineau parks! The ceremony was breathtaking! As a photographer, I totally recommend this venue. The wedding party was amazing, everyone laughed and we had a blast during the photo shot at the red covered bridge and then, driving around wakefield to find a dock. What an adventure. Their grand entrance was like one in the movies- they had their fist dance surrounded by all their guests while a pitch perfect singer (and friend of the couple) interpreted the classic love song “At Last” from Etta James… Photographing Christine and Damien’s wedding was a real treat. Their beauty, personality and love for each other was effortlessly captured through the lens making this wedding, one to remember!

Guy and I photographed a beautiful wedding last Sunday. Sanaz and Yashar have it all! They are smart, beautiful, funny and amazing together. I am editing the wedding right now and could not help it! I had to share a few photos with you. I will post more when I am done, but, until then, here are a few photographs taken at the parliament of Canada. The wedding ceremony and reception were at the Chateau Laurier, so, we took the opportunity to take a walk and make our way to the parliement for a few extra images!

Bridal Boudoir photography is becoming more and more popular with todays modern brides! Instead of having a few photos done quickly the day of your wedding, we recommend that you take a few hours a few months before and get it done right! Here are a few tips to make these sexy boudoir sessions a success!
1- Make sure you have all your wedding accesories and favorite lingerie ( including shoes, jewlery, garter, veil, hair peices, wedding dress( for prop) etc…)
2- Try to get your makeup done as a ” pre wedding day trial” by the person that will do your makeup the day of your wedding
3- Don’t go tanning before the photo shoot ( for at least 5-7 days)
4- Bring your favorite music on your ipod or phone and we will connect it to our sound surround system ! Music is a great way to make you move and relax in front of the camera
5- Don’t be shy… ( remember, we are professionals and we do this A LOT)
6- Bring magazines cut outs of poses and images you love , or photos and paintings that inspirer you
7- Have fun preparing for this shoot and have fun during it

Another great wedding to showcase! Faran and John got married last year June 11th, 2011
The wedding ceremony was outdoors at a private residence in Dunvegan, Ontario (about 45 minutes from Ottawa). The beautiful country setting gave us lot’s of great photo opportunities, especially around the barn. We even took some pictures inside the barn and around the beautiful property that offered endless backdrops and photo opportunities! We then made our way to the Dunvegan Museum for pictures with the bridal party and more photos of this lovely couple. Faran and John are so great together! The atmosphere of the wedding day was relaxed, fun and all about the love they share with each other and for their families and friends. The reception was Reception was in Maxville back at Faran’s parents home. Here are some highlights of this wonderful wedding!

Here is a look at a beautiful winter wedding photographed on location in Cornwall, Ontario. Everything was done in the bride and grooms home, even the ceremony. The wedding was beautiful, with a lot of personal touches! The bride looked flawless in her dress from McCaffrey Haute Couture. We even took a walk outside for a few winter scene wedding images and everyone had fun and cuddled to keep each other warm !!!

I wanted to share the highlights of this wonderful winter wedding on February 25, 2012 in Ottawa. We started the photo session at the newly renovated Westin Hotel. The view of the Ottawa city created a great backdrop for the preparations and the portrait photo session. The bride was wearing a tailor made originally designed purple dress and the groom had a purple shirt to compliment the color scheme. Their individuality, personality and love for each other shinned through the moment we arrived for the photo session. The bridal session, the families and the couple’s photos were all done before the ceremony at the Westin Hotel and at the Ottawa Convention Center. We had so much fun during the photo-shoot and that’s what it’s all about! We then made our way for the ceremony and reception at La Bekta Dinning. The wedding celebrations did not stop there, it kept on going the day after at Le Château Montebello hotel in Quebec, for a brunch for all their family and friends. There was plenty of snow at the rendez-vous and I was so glad because it created a wonderful winter scene! -and let’s not forget the blowing snow falling from the trees onto my Canon camera and 70-200mm lens…We ended with a photo session around the Chateau followed by a sleigh ride! Here are some highlights of the winter wedding day!
