Here is PART TWO – The Hindu Ceremony of this multicultural Christian and Hindu Wedding. We started in the afternoon after we got a little break to mingle and eat with all the guests. Shilpa changes her hair and make-up and put on a gorgeous Hindu wedding dress. Alex, also changed to get ready for the Baraat ceremony. With a team of professional musicians from Montreal and a crowd of 500 people, the Hilton Lac-Leamy parking lot turned into a big parade!!! It was amazing! After this, we took photos of the couple, wedding party and families around the Casino and the Hilton Lac Leamy. The Hindu ceremony was in the evening followed by Indian wedding games. It was an incredible day filled with laughter, love and happiness. Here is a look at a few of the highlights of the day. Stay tuned for PART THREE – THE RECEPTION.

Shilpa & Alex – Christian Ceremony at the Hilton Lac-Leamy
Here is PART ONE of this amazing wedding. I had to split this two day wedding in three parts as there are so many photos we wanted to share. The day started at 7h00 AM for us, so imagine how early it started for the bride and groom!!! The morning preparations were done at the Hilton Lac-Leamy. The Presidential suite is breathtaking and offered the perfect backdrop for this luxurious wedding. Seema Haider makeup artist and her team did a wonderful job getting the bride, her family and wedding party ready on time. Bharat Rudra coordinated the wedding and made sure all the vendors, couple and family members knew exactly were to be at all times. To bring the “mother nature” team indoors, the decorating team made replicas of crab apple trees in bloom. It was perfect with the white and blush colour palette. This was an early Cristian wedding to honour the groom’s family traditions. We took some additional photos of the family and wedding party around the Hilton. We then crossed over to the Ottawa side for more photos around the National Gallery of Canada. We were back at the Hilton for lunch and to get ready for the Hindu Celebration! (Thank you Shilpa and Alex for being so amazing and for looking soooooo gorgeous. You two were so fun to work with and were truly a joy to photograph.
Stay tuned for PART TWO of Shilpa and Alex’s Hindu Wedding.

LEIGH-ANN & DEREK’S FAIRMONT CHATEAU LAURIER & NOTRE DAME CATHEDRAL OTTAWA WEDDING
Leigh-Ann & Derek got married at one of Ottawa’s most famous historic buildings built in 1841 , The Notre–Dame Cathedral Basilica. This church is so beautiful and for photographers, it is a true blessing! We also love to photograph outside the church and use the side doors in the background.
This sweet couple got ready at the Chateau Laurier, they both had rooms there so it was perfect and close to the ceremony site. Leigh-Ann has to be the tiniest bride I have ever photograph. She is so pretty and minute but has the biggest heart ever. Her natural beauty is so stunning, she looked amazing when she put on her wedding dress…wow. Derek is tall, dark and handsome. He is so thoughtful and has the nicest personality and smile!! They make a fantastic couple. After the ceremony, we took couple and family photos around the church. When all the guests left for the cocktail, we left for a walk at Major hill’s park with the couple and wedding party. There are so many photo opportunities along the way, and walking on such a wonderful day gives time for the couple and wedding party to chat and have fun along the way! The reception was held in our favorite room at the Chateau, The Laurier Room. After diner, we took more photos of the balcony and were blessed with an amazing fireworks show. What an amazing day and evening!
To Leigh-Ann and Derek: You are beautiful, caring and perfect for each other. Congratulations !

ALEX AND PAT’S WESTIN | 18 RESTAURANT’S WEDDING
It all started at the House of Barons, where the groom and his groomsmen got a clean shave. Since high school, the groom has worked at the Westin hotel. It was a perfect fit that both, the bride and groom got ready there. Alex found her dress at Kleinfeld in Toronto. She looked absolutely stunning! The couple’s first look was photographed at the locks close to the National Art Centre. We were blessed to have an energetic, fun and beautiful couple, a most amazing wedding party and great positive energy to make the photo session fun! The ceremony was held at the Eighteen restaurant on York Street in Ottawa and the intimate ceremony was performed by a friend. A cocktail style reception following the ceremony was held at the same venue and the bride and groom got to enjoy every minute of it with their guests. First looks are becoming more and more popular. That recipe makes the bride and groom totally stress free to enjoy every minute of the cocktail and reception! To Alex and Pat! Congratulations! Your wedding was a blast!

ISABELLE & SCOTT’S BEAUTIFUL CUMBERLAND HERITAGE VILLAGE MUSEUM WEDDING
Elegance, beauty and class in an organic country setting… This sums up Isabelle and Scott’s wedding pretty well. The museum is located on a 100-acre site in the Village of Cumberland and is home to a small number of livestock in the summer, a working sawmill, forge, carpentry and pump factory, and several other buildings of local historical significance as the schoolhouse, the church and the train station. This museum is an amazing venue for an outdoor wedding, it is only 25 minutes from downtown Ottawa and the scenery and photo opportunity are endless! We started the day with the groom’s coverage at their friend’s home followed by Isabelle’s bridal session at her parents home in Orleans. The ceremony and the reception was held on site at the Cumberland Museum. The ceremony’s location was carefully selected and designed by Stacey Price and Erin Charmichael from The Design Co. in an alley between two rows of majestic trees. It was breathtaking. When the flower petals where set, and Isabelle walked down the aisle, it was a beautiful moment. To view more photos showcasing the details, style and colour scheme from this wedding, visit The Design co‘s website. The weather was perfect, the guests mingled and visited the site while we took the wedding party and family photos. After the cocktail, we all made our way to the outdoor reception area and enjoyed nachos, tacos, pizza’s and salads from a variety of gourmet food trucks chosen by the bride and groom. Everyone partied on till the early morning!!!
To Isabelle and Scott: Thank you for allowing us to record the events of you’re wedding day. It is a privilege and a great honour to be a part of our couple’s most special day! You make a beautiful couple. We wish you happiness forever and love always!
Congratulations to the proud parents of two beautiful children and one more on the way! For an extra glimpse into their life, check out Isabelle’s lifestyle blog Demoiselle Isabelle!

After the wedding ceremony, we took our time to photograph the families, wedding party and couple around the church, downtown Ottawa and at Major Hill’s park.
