Chrystal and Mario were a joy to work with. They are beautiful, kind, generous and so much fun! We learned to get to know them throughout the years at weddings and especially when they were both part of a wedding party we photographed in Jamaica. The day started with the boys at Mario’s parents home in Orleans. Just before leaving, we wanted to photograph all the boy outside in the middle of the street. Mario took so long to come out of the house that the guys had time to walk the streets and find a toilet for him to sit on! This was hilarious! We then made our way to the bride’s home for her bridal portrait session. Crystal was stunning! Wow, What a gorgeous bride!!! The bridesmaids, parents and family helped make the morning session go smoothly. The wedding ceremony and reception was at the Lago Bar restaurent in Ottawa. The ceremony was performed by Alan Viau from All Seasons Weddings Ceremonies. After the group photo, we took family photos with Dow’s Lake as the backdrop. The formal couple and wedding party photos were done at the Experimental Farm. We finished under light rain, in the middle of the street, under the “Little Italy sign”. A perfect ending to the photo session as the couple were headed to Italy for their honeymoon! The venue, the food, the atmosphere, the music (especially the first dance song performed by Mario’s Dad) were at the rendez-vous! What a memorable night.!!!!! Here are some photos that highlight the day! Congratulations to Crystal and Mario!!!

Chrystal & Mario Say “I Do” At Lago

Erica & Brennan’s Ottawa Courtyard Wedding
Erica and Brennan planned their Ottawa wedding from their home in Calgary. It was important for them to come back home to be with family and friends for their big day! They are an amazing couple; genuine, down to earth, easy going and gorgeous inside and out. We started the day at Les Suites Hotel in Ottawa for the bridal and groom’s session. The ceremony was held at the charming St-Patrick’s Catholic church on Steeple Hill in Nepean. The family and wedding photos were taken on the church’s property before heading back to downtown for some photos of the couple around Major Hill’s Park and at the Byward Market. The reception was held at the Courtyard Restaurant. We love the unique colour palate the bride and groom chose for their big day. The yellow flowers added just the right amount of punch to each image. Thank you Erica and Brennan for allowing us to create beautiful wedding images for you. We wish you the best in your new lives as husband and wife.

Tania & Elie Ottawa Wedding – Sts. Peter and Paul & Hellenic Reception Center
Tania and Elie are such a lovely couple the wedding planning was so much fun with Tania. Every time she came to the studio we ended up talking about her wedding and everything else about life!!! Tania is a wonderful person, generous (thank you for those Baklavas, they were the best we have ever had) and drop dead gorgeous.
Tania looked stunning in her Manuel Mota wedding gown and Elie looked incredibly handsome in a suit from Stephano Menswear. The ceremony was held at the Sts Peter & Paul Church on North River Road in Ottawa. The family and wedding party photos were taken at Kingsview Park a few minutes from the church. We made our way to the National Gallery of Canada for more bridal party images and took the couple on a “photo walk”! Our top photo venues included the courtyard next to the National Gallery of Canada, the Notre Dame Basilica Ottawa church, Major Hills Park and the Fairmont Chateau Laurier. The reception venue was at the Hellenic Reception Centre and looked amazing thanks to WEDECOR. Enjoy the photo highlights of the day! Thank you Tania and Elie for giving us “carte blanche” to creating all these beautiful wedding images. Your beauty really shines throughout the lens and we wish you the best in your new lives as husband and wife!

Britt & Andrew Say I DO – Ottawa Wedding Photographers- Chateau Laurier
Welcome to Britt and Andrew’s Ottawa wedding photography blog. This downtown Ottawa wedding has everything to inspirer any bride planning a wedding in the nation’s capital. We were also teamed up with some pretty incredible Ottawa wedding vendors:
Stacey Price from Marry Me Productions, Erin from Full Bloom Floral Design , the wonderful event team at the : Fairmont Chateau Laurier as well as Kimberley Dunn, an amazing singer and pianist.
I can describe this wedding in three words; elegance, timeless and breathtaking!!! Britt is wonderful, beautiful and sweet and Andrew’s handsomeness, east coast charm and wit landed him the girl of his dreams. Together, they gave a memorable emotional wedding speech that brought the house down in laughter and joy. The day was perfect, their family and friends were wonderful and the vendors made this wedding top shelf. To Britt and Andrew, we wish you the best in your new lives together!

Krystal & Shawn’s Edwards Ontario Country Wedding
Krystal and Shawn have a beautiful dream property with horses and a riding arena in Edwards Ontario. When they started to plan the wedding, there was no question in their mind their home was going to be “the wedding venue”. We started the day at the bride and groom’s home with Shawn and his family. We then made our way to the parent’s newly renovated farm home 2 minutes from the couple’s property. The farm house provided the perfect rustic style and blended magically with the theme of the wedding. The ceremony was held outdoors next to the couple’s riding arena. They even built their own wedding arch out of distressed wood. The hanging flowers were in vintage medicine bottles… wow, this couple is so detailed oriented, they bring a whole new meaning to DIY weddings. They even had lavender in paper cones for the guests to throw like confetti for their first walk down the aisle as husband and wife! What a unique idea that gave us breathtaking photos. The couple photos, family and wedding party was done in their hay field. The weather was beautiful and their friends and family provided the perfect atmosphere! Love was in the air! The bride looked stunning in her Enzoani designer dress from Baroness Bridal Boutique. The groom looked equally charming sporting a cowboy hat for the couple’s session. The reception was held inside their riding arena. The decor included vintage typewriters , old rustic wood barrels, hay bales, antique tea cups and antique wagons. A perfect decor for a country chic outdoor wedding! Here is a look at some off the images of their wonderful day! To Krystal and Shawn: Congratulations and we wish you the best!

RUSTIC BARN WEDDING IN SARSFIELD, ONTARIO – CHARLINE & YVES
We are happy to share photos from Charline and Yves’s September wedding. No travel time was needed because the wedding was all in one location. They invested countless hours in getting their beautiful property ready for their 2014 barn wedding .
This resulted in a totally relaxed atmosphere and a fun “no stress” day for everyone!!! This lovely couple made their dream wedding a reality by doing everything themselves, one step at a time….!!! This DIY bride thought of every single detail! She handmade boutonnieres made out of bullet shells and hand sewn fabric flowers for the bouquets. She even made custom beer bottle openers out of wood and nickels as favors! WOW! Team up Pinterest with Charline’s talent, this girl is now our poster bride for the DIY weddings!
To Charline and Yves, we wish you a lifetime of health, love and happiness!

CHRISTA + JEREMIE’S WEDDING & ENGAGEMENT – OTTAWA-CUMBERLAND
We had the pleasure of photographing this lovely couple as bridesmaid and groomsmen at many of their friend’s weddings, but this time, finally as bride and groom :). Getting to know our clients and developing a great relationship is the key to successful wedding images. Late September is our favorite times to photograph weddings. The vegetation is at its fullest, it’s not to hot, there’s usually a nice breeze and the sun set’s at the perfect time.
Jeremie was ready for his photo session when we arrived at their beautifully renovated home. (If you are looking to renovate your home, Jeremie Dicaire is your guy!!! His custom work and craftsmanship are amazing. The house, the furniture, the lighting and decor were perfect for photos… all the boys looked really handsome. Jeremie was the best model ever!
After the boy’s coverage, we went to Jeremie’s parent’s home in Orleans for Christa’s bridal session. Wow, she was gorgeous. Everything was perfectly laid out for us and the bridesmaids even had matching kimono robes. Christa is a beautiful, generous and kind person that always thinks of others first. Her personality is infectious and everyone just loves being around her.
The ceremony was at the museum of Cumberland. The outdoor setting was perfect and Christa and Jer hand made all the decorations and accessories that made this country wedding look so “chic”. The defining moment of the ceremony was when Jeremie saw Christa for the first time in her wedding dress…there was not one dry eye in the audience. During the ceremony, a big bull made its way close to us and started ” mooooooing” really loud after the exchanging of the vows, kinda saying he approved..lol. After the ceremony, there was a photo opportunity with the bull, we’ll, if you look at the photos in the post below, the bull really liked Christa and especially her bouquet…all in good humor, no one got hurt and it just gave the guests another story to talk about during the family and bridal party photos. Everywhere you looked, there were photo opportunities at the Cumberland museum…it is such a wonderful venue for wedding photographs. The sunflowers were gigantic and we used them as the backdrop for a lot of photos. When we were finishing the couple’s session, the clouds rolled in and it started pouring rain. We only had one series of photos left to do on the museums train track and we convinced the bride to get “a little wet”. We are all so thankful it was such a beautiful sunny day until that moment.
The reception was held at “The Ottawa Hunt and Golf Club”. Christa and Jeremie are surrounded by amazing friends and families. The speeches were so wonderful, emotional and funny, and, to top it off, the wedding party offered a show stopping performance of a ” wedding rap” to the famous fresh prince of Belair music. The maid of honor Avery and Jeremy’s brother and best man Jasmin wrote the lyrics to this hilarious rap about the lovely couple. I could hardly focus because I was laughing so hard…High five to the wedding party, this was the best performance from a wedding party ever !!!…
To Christa and Jer, thank you for trusting us to take your wedding photographs. You two are wonderful, perfect for each other, smart, beautiful, and beyond kind. We wish you the very best !!!
