Downtown Ottawa Couple Photography
Yes, it’s cold in Ottawa! Sometimes, to get that perfect photo, you have to tell yourself that the weather does not matter. Well, in this case, it was hot wherever Matthieu and Josée went. Joelle took these photos around the market and downtown Ottawa on a Saturday afternoon. We are booking on location engagement photos all year long and we still have Saturdays and week days available for winter sessions. We love to start the photo sessions in our studio and do close-up classic portraiture, then, off to the cold we go :). Here are some examples.

Kids Kids Kids! Ottawa Studio Photography
We photograph a lot of children and babies in our Ottawa East photography studio. We will be moving soon ( March 2010) to our Cumberland studio. Sweet Sixteen Ottawa Photography
Beautiful Katii ! Sweet sixteen ! Put all this together and this is what you get 🙂 Katelyn saw a photo that my buddy, “fellow awesome photographer James Hodgins in Sudbury” you can connect to his BLOG here, did for a competition and fell in love with the idea of the girl and the lollipop. So, on her sixteeth birthday she did a trip to the hairdresser and arrived at our studio all pretty in pink. Joelle did a fabulous job at capturing Kate’s fun personality and beauty. Lifestyle family and children photography- Ottawa Ontario
Emilie’s lifestyle photo book was delivered by purolator on December 24th,ouf!!! just in time for my Christmas gifts. Let’s just say this is the best present I ever gave my Mom and Dad. We were not even at the 5th page and the box of tissues was out and the emotion, smiles and tears of joy were flooding the room around the Christmas tree.
My job as a photographer is to capture the personality, innocence and beauty of a child and those candid unexpected moments as they unfolds. We are proud to introduce our “Lifestyle photo book packages” for 2010. The response has already been overwhelming and we have already been commissioned to photograph 2 “lifestyle family books” this spring. These sessions take at least 2.5 hours and include a studio and on location session ( preferably in and around your home) with 2 photographers ( Guy, joelle or Julie). The beauty about this type of session is that you don’t need to come back to the studio to see the proofs, Joelle and I will do it all! The editing, retouching, artistic design and layout. 100% Martial Arts & Fitness – Event Photography – Ottawa Westin Hotel
Spirits ran high as over 250 martial artists gathered at the beautiful Westin Ottawa Hotel for the 2009 Masters Summit, hosted by 100% Martial Arts & Fitness, on Saturday, December 12, 2009. International Masters taught exciting workshops to eager and bright students from many of Ottawa’s martial arts academies. Karate, Kickboxing, Tae Kwon Do, Jiu-Jitsu, Goshin Do, Kobudo (traditional weaponry) were among some of the exciting arts shared. Many travelled as far as Toronto to enjoy the day’s events including over 30 Black Belt presentations to those just graduated. Ranging from Junior level Black Belt to 6th Degree Honourary Black Belt, there is no doubt this year’s 100% Martial Arts highly anticipated Masters Summit was the most memorable.

It’s a Girl! Ottawa Studio Baby Photography
Here is another beautiful baby girl we photographed in our photo studio. We took her brothers photos at the same age a few years ago. The parents wanted to match the other background ( it was brown), so, I went shopping and found some brown fabric with an interesting texture. For the last photo, I used bamboo straws from “Micheals”, painted them brown and tied each end to make it look like a crib. Here are samples of the images the parents enlarged ( the last one is a beautiful wall size- it looks amazing)

Outdoor Family Photography in Ottawa
Another happy customer ! The Rozon family just picked up their photography portrait order. Guy helped them choose frames that would add a beautiful classy touch and match the style in their home. The mounting,lamination and rich texture enhance these portraits even more, and, you don’t need to put a glass when they are framed.

Beautiful Ottawa Fall Wedding – Mike & Kelly
The Art Gallery of Ottawa is always an amazing place to host a wedding reception. Add a fun wedding party full of girls and boys that want to have fun, a couple in love and the results: another beautiful Ottawa wedding. Mike and Kelly were a joy to photograph. My assistant Brent Gervais and I had so much fun laughing with the family and wedding party , taking photos in the OC transpo bus, and with all the running around and excitement… breaking a flash ( oups! Brent) . Renting a bus is a great idea if you have a lot of out of town guests. The reception was at the National Gallery of Ottawa (one of my favorite spots for wedding photography).
