Outdoor family portraits are always so relaxed and fun, especially at our Cumberland outdoor estate studio. We love photographing families around the pond and garden area because the greenery , plants and flowers create a natural and relaxed environment. The Beagrath’s had their photos taken mid summer and brought a change of clothes for more variety. Their 36 inch wall portrait is stunning and flawless…a memory they will cherish forever. Spring Time Photography- “In Studio” & Outdoor Family Photos, Ottawa Ontario

Spring is a great time for family photography. We can take advantage of the photography studio and then, make our way outdoors for some great nature/environmental style images. Even if the leaves are not out yet, our outdoor studio offers some beautiful backdrops all year long. Jennifer and her family live in Nunavut and were on vacation in Ottawa! They planned their family photo session and engagement session at the beginning of their vacation to give us time to print the images. At our studio, all post processing, retouching, printing, lamination and framing is done on site. This allows us to offer a rush service without having to cut on quality. By the end of their vacation, the photos were ready for pick up! Have a look at some highlights from their session.

Ottawa Family Photography – Holiday portrait promotion

The holidays are just around the corner. How long has it been since your last family photo? We have gift certificates available until December 24th and a few openings left before Christmas. We are also open for photography sessions during the holidays on December 28th. Our family sessions are $229.00 ( in studio – up to 6 people) , and up to 279.00 for large groups. Ottawa Family & Children Photographers – Studio & Fall Photography

This is a complete session with a mix of indoor studio photography and outdoor photography with fall colors at their prime! Families are our specialty. We always recommend a consultation prior to the photography session so we can talk about the type of photo and look ou are looking for. A session like this will last about 1.5 hours because of the change of clothes and settings….This is the big reason why we wanted to build an outdoor studio on our property, to offer our clients flexibility, variety and…a place to warm up if it’s a little cool outside during the photo session..and let’s not forget free parking 🙂 Prime time is now so don’t wait until all the leaves fall down..

Ottawa Portrait Studio, Family & Baby Photography

We love babies and we love to work in our new studio. Day time photo sessions are best for babies, especially mornings and early afternoons. Our new indoor studio in Cumberland, Ottawa is great because we can mix flash and natural window light. When Nada called me to book her family session, we brainstormed over the phone and came up with a few concepts together. We start with an initial idea, then, we explore…. Nada and Jason’s daughter was so calm and easy to photograph that we could change her into different outfits and get a lot of different looks. Joelle had just made a white TUTU with her mom for baby photos and we had a chance to try it! We were so pleased with the results, that we printed a 24×30 inch sample for our photography gallery. By the end of the photo session, the baby was sleeping! Here are a few highlights of the photo session!

Family Photography at our Cumberland Studio

Randa & Ramsey – Ottawa Engagement and Rahal family Photography

Here is a look at Randa and Ramsey’s engagement photo session taken at our outdoor studio in Cumberland ( Ottawa), Ontario. They were married two days ago and I can’t wait to post some hightlights of their wedding photos taken at the Hilton Lac Leamy.

This style of couple photography is fun to do because we mix studio and outdoor photography to give more variety. It’s a good thing our indoor studio is a few steps from our pond because it must have been around 38 degrees during the photo session… They are a charm to photograph and Randa is a pro at knowing what to do in front of the camera! here is a look at their session.

Lachapelle family Photography – Ottawa outdoor studio

It’s this time of year again! Our outdoor studio is ready, almost every plant survived the long winter , did I say …long winter… We are now booking family sessions in June, Tuesday to Friday, 9h30 am to 5h30 pm, Wednesday nights until 8h00 PM and we still have a few opening for Saturday, june 18th. We also have a few Saturdays available in July and august. Call us at 613-824-8525 for more information.

I wanted to highlight a family session taken last year at our outdoor studio in Cumberland, Ontario. The Lachapelle family decided to dress in casual clothing with white tops and jeans, which are great for outdoor photos. They were a joy to photograph. We laughed a lot and took the time to photograph each family, kids, siblings and grandparents. The results were amazing! A typical family session lasts about 1.5 hours.
