Caroline and Nathan are getting married next year at the museum of Cumberland. We can’t wait to photograph this beautiful couple on their wedding day. We photographed their engagement session in Orleans at Petrie Island and at our outdoor studio in Cumberland Ontario. The fall colours were in their prime and our great models were a joy to photograph. Here are a few of our favourites photos from their engagement session. Enjoy!
Weddings are always magical…and sometimes as photographers, we witness a kind of love that inspirers us! This is truly what happened on Suzanne and Andre’s wedding day. The love they share for one another is amazing. They are so comfortable with each other and they shine in front of the camera. During the couple’s photos, it was great to watch them walking hand in hand, laugh and kiss as if it was the first time over and over again! To forget that there is a camera around is really the key to spontanious and natural looking photos.
The wedding was at their estate in Cumberland, Ontario on a very hot summer day. Everything was planned to a T, from the grand entrance of the bride on a vintage red dodge convertible to the music during the ceremony from the bride’s daughter Manon, a talented flutist and her aunt, an amazing singer from New Brunswick… The guest were entertained with drinks, cocktails and an impressive collection of old cars worth viewing on their property. The art of entertaining was truly mastered at this wedding!. Here are a few highlights from their engagement photo session and their wedding day!

Engagement photography- the best way to tell your story!
Outdoor Photography in Ottawa, in April, can be challenging, so, here is a creative way to get around the lack greenery for a more natural, comtemporary look. Joelle is commissioned to photograph their wedding photos next year at the Majestic Elegance Resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
Engagement sessions are free if we photograph your wedding. Engagement albums are a great way to display your images. We invite you to come and view samples in our studio.

Here is a look at a fun couple session all photographed in Havana, Cuba last March. Walking down the streets in Havana and mingling with the locals is a great way to keep it real!! Have a look at some fun, spontaneous ways to photograph an engagement on location!

We love photographing couples. When we go on location, it’s usually because the couple wants an album or a signing book for their reception table. Knowing in advance the kind of product the couple will order, make us tailor the way we photograph during the session. Here is the layout for a 15 pages- 30 sides – vertical 8×12 metallic papers – Hard back cover book. All the images were taken downtown Ottawa, around the Byward market, the courtyard, Major Hill’s Park and York street. We can’t wait to photograph their wedding in September 2012! Here are some highlights of their “on location” portrait session…

This is another beautiful couple’s session photographed by Joelle! It’s fun to get to a scene and have so much to work with in terms of background, extras, lighting – especially late at night…. The session started at around 8h00 pm when there was still a lot of daylight!
Matt was a little shy, but, Kim was totally into the photo session- talk about being very good in front of the lense!
We though adding the ballons with the ” fair ” theme was a really nice touch- very appropriate and fun for this kind of young couple “on location” portrait session.
It got dark very quickly, so, we got the video light! What a nice change then using the flash. We used a 5d canon with the 70-200 mm and could boost up the iso to 3200 with the help of the video light. The high iso picked up all the different colored lights, giving us great results!
We ended up closing the place! What a romantic finish to a fun photo session!
