Ottawa Engagement couple photography – Renee & Vito
Renee & Vito met six years ago, on Canada Day, outside of Pancho Villa… where Vito later ended up proposing. However, it took a few years before the timing was right for them to start dating. Renee was away in Nova Scotia and Vito spent the school year in Ottawa and summers in southern Ontario. They finally went on a date four years ago and both of them realized it was worth the wait. They are proof of what happens when you cross a creative craft master with a scholar/magician – the surprises never stop! We are so happy and excited to photograph their wedding today, July 6th, downtown Ottawa.

Avery & Jasmin – Destination Wedding Majestic Colonial All Inclusive Resort in Punta Cana
Here is a look at another beautiful destination wedding under the hot sun of Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. Avery and Jasmin’s wedding day was truly exceptional. The friends, family and hotel staff made their special day magical and everything unfolded without a glitch… (even the exceptional “sprint” from Jeremy, Jasmin’s brother, moments before the ceremony to recover the bride’s wedding vows..LOL). Did I mention we were in one of Punta Cana’s largest hotels, The Majestic Colonial Punta Cana, All Inclusive Resort. What a great venue! They had their reception outdoors, on the pool deck, in the middle of the resort. It was so fun to be outdoors, what a great time!
There was a lot of wind that week so we had fun photographing on the beach….When the waves came in, we often got wet…as you can see in the photos below, this gave us great candid photos. What a fun week and a great couple. They made this destination wedding one to remember, especially with the wedding magazine they created to help their guests with all the weekly activities and events. Avery and Jasmin, you are wonderful, generous and lovely couple and it was an honor photographing your special day!

Rana & Charbel’s Engagement Portrait Session at a Train Track in Ottawa
Here is a look at Rana and Charbel’s engagement session on location in Ottawa. Joelle and I had so much fun photographing this lovely couple bright and early one saturday morning. We love to photograph couple’s before their big day to get to know them better, find out the style they prefer and especially to have fun and create wonderful images without having to follow a schedule (like on the wedding day). The fun part was driving around trying to find this train track…..and we are so happy we found it because the images are amazing! This is part one of three posts as we went to three locations for their engagement session. Soon I will post part 2 part 3 ( At Dow’s lake boat launch and at the Ottawa Tulip festival). We can’t wait to photograph their wedding this July !!!

Ottawa Outdoor family session at our Cumberland Ottawa Studio
Here is a look at the Ngutete family get together. Summer is a great time for family reunions. We love our outdoor studio in Cumberland for large groups because it is in the shade all day!!! Good bye straight rows of people in a photo, we designed this posing spot with large groups in mind. Our rocks are placed perfectly to achieve different elevations and compositions for groups up to 40 people! Here is a look at a few of their family photos.

Labrie Family – Ottawa Portrait Photography Outdoor Studio
Finaly, the snow has melted. We still have a little bit of ice in our pond but, soon it will be gone. Sophie & Chris – Mill St. Brew Pub Ottawa Winter Wedding
Sophie and Chris got married in Tulum, Mexico this January but decided to have a second wedding in Ottawa with their friends and family! Here are highlights from their Ottawa Winter Wedding.
