Nathalie & Omar – Ottawa Vintage Wedding Photography – Outdoor Ceremony

This wedding is simply breathtaking!!! Everything was perfect..the dress, the decorations, the house, the weather, the garden setting, the outdoor ceremony, the attention to details, the old typewriter,….I could go on and on…..The vintage theme was so well achieved making these wedding photos absolutely beautiful…Of course, with the photographic talent of Joelle Martin behind the lens and a gorgeous couple in love, this was an award winning photography recipe before it even started!!!

Baby William – Ottawa Family & Newborn Baby Photography

I’ve been wanting to do this first photo for a very long time…..and it finally happened…with a lot of perseverance… With Newborn baby photography, you just can’t give up…. These sessions take time and a lot of TLC… and we have a lot to give when it comes to babies. This little miracle was only two weeks old at the time of the photo session. Mom and Dad were also included in the studio photo session ( see last example), but the focus was on baby William. He was so good during the photo session…we just wanted to keep on going. When he fell asleep, we put him in every thing we could find… Enjoy the preview!

Outdoor Fall Session with the Marcotte Family – Ottawa Autumn Photographers

Family photography is so fun to do at this time of year. Everywhere you look, the colors are beautiful, especially at our outdoor estate studio in Ottawa ( Cumberland area). Spontaneous family photos are achieved by setting up the family at a specific place where the main light comes from the side and the sun is behind the subject, and then, letting them interact. We always have fun photographing Steve and Gillian and congratulate them on their wonderful family. Here is an example of what we created for them. Adele & Jonathan Robinson – Wedding Photography – Bean Town Ranch

August is a beautiful month for weddings! The foliage is at it’s best and the lighting is amazing… Add a couple in love…and you have everything to create the perfect wedding photos. Adele and Jonathan’s wedding was on a friday. It was rainy and sunny throughout the day making us use our creativity even more as we were running from indoors to outdoors. We did not want to stop taking photos; Bean town ranch is a wonderful place for wedding photography! The backdrops are beautiful and every where you look, there are more areas to discover. Genevieve and her staff were really helpful making it great and easy to coordinate all the photos. During the diner, we had a great performance from Adele’s father who interpreted his rendition to the song ” Mrs Robinson” since his daughter officially took on that family name!!! We ended diner with the ” Bean Town ranch’s famous crepe vanilla ice cream dessert..!!! Here are some highlights from the wedding day. Congratulations again Adele and Jonathan, you make a wonderful couple!

D’Angelo Family Photography – Ottawa Portrait Photographers

The D’angelo family hold a special place in our hearts. Bonnie ( mom) has been coming for photo sessions for the last 25 years. We have been photographing them though every stage of their lives. This is the last time we do a photo as brother and sister before one of them get married. ( Congratulations Matthew). During the photo session, Guy and I though it would be funny to have one of their old photos in there somehow. How style has changed LOL.Here is a look at their photo session done at our Cumberland studio.

We take advantage of many backdrops around the estate studio, especially this white acrylic wall at the studio’s entrance. The texture makes it interesting and the directional light is created because of the overhang, therefore, no flash is ever needed for this photo. The white house also acts as an oversized reflector giving us the wrap around light!

Our outdoor studio has many different options in terms of backdrops. In early spring or late fall, when the trees are bare, we choose to photograph in the wooded areas with the sun behind the groups creating this dramatic, more modern effect.

Suzanne & Andre – Cumberland Ontario Garden Wedding Photography

Weddings are always magical…and sometimes as photographers, we witness a kind of love that inspirers us! This is truly what happened on Suzanne and Andre’s wedding day. The love they share for one another is amazing. They are so comfortable with each other and they shine in front of the camera. During the couple’s photos, it was great to watch them walking hand in hand, laugh and kiss as if it was the first time over and over again! To forget that there is a camera around is really the key to spontanious and natural looking photos.

The wedding was at their estate in Cumberland, Ontario on a very hot summer day. Everything was planned to a T, from the grand entrance of the bride on a vintage red dodge convertible to the music during the ceremony from the bride’s daughter Manon, a talented flutist and her aunt, an amazing singer from New Brunswick… The guest were entertained with drinks, cocktails and an impressive collection of old cars worth viewing on their property. The art of entertaining was truly mastered at this wedding!. Here are a few highlights from their engagement photo session and their wedding day!
