Joelle and I just came back from photographing a beautiful church wedding tonight in Cumberland Ontario. At the end of the ceremony, the bride and groom asked all the guests to release chinese lanterns…Wow, beautiful, breathtaking. Details, details and more details. Kim’s attention to details made this New Years Eve wedding one to remember. Kim and John met in Scotland. Kim was on vacation and …just like in the movies, an accident brought them together and he swept her off her feet… What a beautiful love story! They go together like two peas in a pod! Their wedding day started at the Westin Hotel , followed by the ceremony and reception at the Courtyard restaurant. The weather was perfect allowing us to take outdoor winter photos! We first started to photograph Stephanie and Mark’s wedding at the Arc Hotel in Ottawa. After all the families photos were done on both the bride and the groom’s side, we made our way to the Canadian Museum of Civilization for the ceremony, the wedding photos and the reception. This couple have so much personality and a sense of style that is so unique! They made sure to incorporate their personal style on their wedding day by wearing pink converse running shoes! Karina & Danny met in 2004 at College Boreal in Sudbury at the volleyball meeting. Karina was studying at the library and Danny came up to her and ask asked if they could sit together on the school bus trip for the volleyball tournament. Their first <<official>> date was on Halloween.
It took seven years for Danny proposed to Karina on February 9, 2011 before going on vacation to Edmonton. Here is what Karina had to say about it “It was our first time having a vacation together, first airplane ride and first time visiting Edmonton. We are big hockey fans, we went to see Edmonton Oilers vs Ottawa Senators in Edmonton. Quite an experience!! Danny’s favorite hockey team: Edmonton Oilers Karina’s favorite hockey team: Ottawa Senators. Danny’s smile was priceless when we first walked in the Rexall Arena where the Edmonton Oilers played. The Senators did win that game!!! Too bad for Danny!”
Well, I can say : Lucky you Danny because Karina said yes! You two make a wonderful couple, so in love and so compatible. We wish you happiness, health and lot’s of kids to make your own volleyball team:)

August is a beautiful month for weddings! The foliage is at it’s best and the lighting is amazing… Add a couple in love…and you have everything to create the perfect wedding photos. Adele and Jonathan’s wedding was on a friday. It was rainy and sunny throughout the day making us use our creativity even more as we were running from indoors to outdoors. We did not want to stop taking photos; Bean town ranch is a wonderful place for wedding photography! The backdrops are beautiful and every where you look, there are more areas to discover. Genevieve and her staff were really helpful making it great and easy to coordinate all the photos. During the diner, we had a great performance from Adele’s father who interpreted his rendition to the song ” Mrs Robinson” since his daughter officially took on that family name!!! We ended diner with the ” Bean Town ranch’s famous crepe vanilla ice cream dessert..!!! Here are some highlights from the wedding day. Weddings are always magical…and sometimes as photographers, we witness a kind of love that inspirers us! This is truly what happened on Suzanne and Andre’s wedding day. The love they share for one another is amazing. They are so comfortable with each other and they shine in front of the camera. During the couple’s photos, it was great to watch them walking hand in hand, laugh and kiss as if it was the first time over and over again! To forget that there is a camera around is really the key to spontanious and natural looking photos.
The wedding was at their estate in Cumberland, Ontario on a very hot summer day. Everything was planned to a T, from the grand entrance of the bride on a vintage red dodge convertible to the music during the ceremony from the bride’s daughter Manon, a talented flutist and her aunt, an amazing singer from New Brunswick… The guest were entertained with drinks, cocktails and an impressive collection of old cars worth viewing on their property. The art of entertaining was truly mastered at this wedding!. Here are a few highlights from their engagement photo session and their wedding day!
