Every 4 to 6 months, we take more photos of Chloé and her sister for a book project! Mom and Dad want to have a book featuring their two daughters and family! This has been an ongoing project since they were babies that is scheduled to be finished at the end of this year. Christine & Damien – Mariage – Le Belvédère, Wakefield, Quebec
When Christine and Damien met over 5 years ago, it was love at first sight. Damien was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors, and Christine was a city girl….. you know what they say! Opposites always attract. On their first date, Damien took Christine to his cottage. The most romantic and perfect setting was at the rendez-vous; a sunset, a beach and of course…a first kiss. Years later, at sunset, Damien surprised Christine by proposing, down on one knee, at that same exact location.
Christine and Damien got married on June 9th, 2012 at Le Belvédère, a new wedding, meeting and specials events center located thirty minutes north of Ottawa, just outside of Wakefield Quebec. They planned their wedding around their love of nature and the beautiful scenery overlooking the Gatineau parks! The ceremony was breathtaking! As a photographer, I totally recommend this venue. The wedding party was amazing, everyone laughed and we had a blast during the photo shot at the red covered bridge and then, driving around wakefield to find a dock. What an adventure. Their grand entrance was like one in the movies- they had their fist dance surrounded by all their guests while a pitch perfect singer (and friend of the couple) interpreted the classic love song “At Last” from Etta James… Photographing Christine and Damien’s wedding was a real treat. Their beauty, personality and love for each other was effortlessly captured through the lens making this wedding, one to remember!

Maggie & Steve – Engagement Session Ottawa Ontario
After almost seven years together, Maggie & Steve are making it “official” on July 28th,2012.
I just visited their wedding web site and it’s awesome! A great way for photographers and guests to get to know the wedding couple, wedding party and information needed for the big day. Engagement photos are also a great way for the photographers and the couple to get to know each other. Here is a little quote from the email we got from Maggie after the E-session “I knew your photos were amazing and that’s why I chose you, but I had no idea that you had so many little tricks and positioning directions, it was so helpful, you made us feel at ease! I’m so glad we had that opportunity because it’s made us both so much more excited for the wedding photos!!! This is why we love to do engagement sessions! The ceremony will be held at the St. Patrick’s Basilica in Ottawa followed by a reception and diner at the Fairmont Chateau Laurier!
They are beautiful, in love and a joy to photograph! ( And for all you “hopeless romantics” out there….. maybe you will fall head over heels for the “hot produce guy” at your local supermarket!!!

Valérie Simard & Grant Clitsome E-session
Valerie and Grant’s engagement photo session was so fun to do. We all took turns at photographing this lovely couple. These are one hour photo sessions because we love to take our time to get to know the couple before their wedding day. It was easy to capture their beauty and the love between each other. Their individual personalities shone through each and every shot. Valerie and Grant’s big day is TODAY… July 14th, 2012. We love using the natural light in our new Cumberland, Ottawa Portrait Studio. Sometimes, we will mix strobe and natural light for a different effect.
3 years ago, we planted a willow tree.. It is finally big enough for photo sessions!

Cathy Jackson – Fitness Photography – 2012 IDFA National Capital Classic competitor
Cathy has been training for her upcoming fitness competition, the 2012 IDFA National Capital Classic on July 14th at the Canadian Museum of Civilization in Gatineau, Quebec. She trains at a Goodlife fitness club in Ottawa (Queen street location) and her personal trainer is Jared Rosenfeld. Her hard work and dedication is a great source of inspiration! It takes an amazing amount of will power and determination to achieve this level of fitness, and to capture it on camera is inspiring and motivating! Sarah & Matt – Engagement photography in Ottawa Ontario
Take a look at a fresh new storybook concept for this newly engaged couple Sarah & Matt.
They met when they were 16 years old. Matt recalls his many attempts to get Sarah to go out with him. Almost a year passed before she agreed to go on a date with him. Their 7 year romance became official last Christmas eve!
